URGENT: Immediate Prayer Request from a Friend of Medjugorje

URGENT: Immediate Prayer Request from a Friend of Medjugorje

For Immediate Release
Friday Night, 6:10 PM Central Time USA
April 20, 2018 A.D.

As many know, a month ago a Friend of Medjugorje asked all Radio WAVE listeners to keep Medjugorje author, Wayne Weible, in their prayers as his health was declining. Wayne Weible is mostly known for his book, Medjugorje: The Message, and for a newspaper that a Friend of Medjugorje promoted in the early years of Caritas, Miracle at Medjugorje.

Just a few minutes ago, a Friend of Medjugorje spoke with Judy Weible, the wife of Wayne Weible, and she relayed that Wayne has very little time left to live. He is unconscious, as he clings to life, and she felt it may be only a few hours (As of 6:00 p.m. central time, Friday, April 20, 2018.) A Friend of Medjugorje is requesting everyone to immediately pray special prayers that are to be prayed for one who is dying. These three prayers are taken from the Pieta Prayer Book and are very powerful. The prayers follow at the end of this writing.

A Friend of Medjugorje and Wayne, went to “Medjugorje kindergarten” together, both starting their Medjugorje apostolates at the same time, and attending the first Medjugorje conference in Boston, in September 1986. Wayne Weible was still a Protestant at the time. Wayne writes in his book, Medjugorje: the Mission about his time with a Friend of Medjugorje in 1988 during Medjugorje visionary, Marija’s visit to Birmingham, Alabama.

“Several days later after calling [a Friend of Medjugorje], I was on my way to Birmingham…[A Friend of Medjugorje] picked me up at the airport…Although Marija and her brother had only been in the States two weeks, busloads of people were coming regularly to pray in the Field.

“Caritas of Birmingham…had begun about the same time as my involvement in Medjugorje. I met [a Friend of Medjugorje] in September, 1986, at a hastily arranged retreat of leaders…spreading the Medjugorje message…[Caritas of Birmingham] quickly became the largest distribution center [of my writings]…

“As we walked into a wooded area near [a Friend of Medjugorje’s] home Marjia seemed very much at peace with the decision to come to the United States…A little while later, we piled into the backseat of the cab of a huge truck, joining [a Friend of Medjugorje], his wife Annette, and their little children, and were soon off to find a Christmas tree for their family. The drive into the countryside gave me time to catch up on news of Medjugorje and the well-being of family members and friends…”

A Friend of Medjugorje very heavily promoted Wayne’s newspaper, Miracle at Medjugorje, mailing out literally tens of millions of these newspapers. Many millions of people were introduced to Medjugorje through this newspaper. Many new people to Medjugorje have never read the writings of Wayne Weible’s. We suggest you read them. A Friend of Medjugorje and Wayne have been friends now for over 30 years.

A Friend of Medjugorje has asked all Caritas followers, to pray these prayers below for the dying and to send them to everyone you know, to pray immediately for Wayne.

THREE VERY BEAUTIFUL PRAYERS

Which are very useful to a dying person, and should be prayed often as an act of mercy.

1. Prayer

Lord Jesus Christ! Thou Son of God and Son of the Virgin Mary, God and Man, Thou who in fear sweated blood for us on the Mount of Olives in order to bring peace, and to offer Thy Most Holy Death to God, Thy Heavenly Father, for the salvation of this dying person (Wayne)… if it be, however, that by his sins he merits eternal damnation, then may it be deflected from him. This, O Eternal Father through Our Lord Jesus Christ, Thy Dear Son, Who liveth and reigneth in union with the Holy Spirit now and forever. Amen.

2. Prayer

Lord Jesus Christ! Thou Who meekly died on the trunk of the Cross for us, submitting Thy Will completely to Thy Heavenly Father in order to bring peace and to offer Thy most Holy Death to Thy Heavenly Father in order to free…(Wayne)… and to hide from him what he has earned with his sins; grant this, O Eternal Father! Through Our Lord, Jesus, Thy Son, Who liveth and reigneth with Thee in union with the Holy Spirit now and forever. Amen.

3. Prayer

Lord Jesus Christ! Thou Who remained silent to speak through the mouths of the Prophets: I have drawn Thee to me through Eternal Love, which Love drew Thee from Heaven into the body of the Virgin, which Love drew Thee from the body of the Virgin into the valley of this needful world, which Love kept Thee 33 years in this world, and as a sign of Great Love, Thou hast given Thy Holy Body as True Food and Thy Holy Blood as True Drink, as a sign of Great Love, Thou has consented to be a prisoner and to be led from one judge to another and as a sign of Great Love Thou hast consented to be condemned to death, and hast consented to die and to be buried and truly risen, and appeared to Thy Holy Mother and all the Holy Apostles, and as a sign of Great Love Thou hast ascended, under Thy own Strength and Power, and sitteth at the Right Hand of God, Thy Heavenly Father, and Thou has sent Thy Holy Spirit into the hearts of Thy Apostles and the hearts of all who hope and believe in Thee. Through Thy Sign of Eternal Love, open Heaven today and take this dying person (Wayne)… and all his sins into the Realm of Thy Heavenly Father, that he may reign with Thee now and forever. Amen.

If a person had committed all the sins in the world, but that the three Prayers shall have been read (over him) at his end (death), all his sins will be forgiven him, even though his soul was supposed to suffer until the Last Judgment, it will be redeemed (freed).

The person who hears them read, won’t die an unhappy death, nor in whose house they will be read. Therefore, take these prayers and carry them into St. Peter’s Basilica and lay them in the Chapel named the Assumption of Mary, for certain consolation.

The person who will be near death, who reads them or hears them read, gains 400 years indulgence for the days he was supposed to suffer in Purgatory because of his guilt. Also, who reads this Prayer or hears it read, the hour of his death shall be revealed to him. Amen!

Wayne Weible, at the Bedroom of Apparitions, 1988

Wayne Weible praying in the Bedroom of Apparitions, in the home of a Friend of Medjugorje and his wife, in preparation for Our Lady’s apparition to Marija, during the 1988-89 apparitions, November-January in Alabama. It is a grace that Wayne is the only face recognizable in this picture.

Wayne, is kneeling on the right, next to the headboard. Medjugorje visionary Marija is kneeling at the foot of the bed, in front of, and to the right of the white-haired woman who is standing up. It was a joy for Wayne to spend a few days with Marija, a Friend of Medjugorje, his wife and family. Reflecting on those days of grace, a Friend of Medjugorje said tonight,

“These days were beautiful, exciting and full of wonder. Our Lady gave messages every day, and we never knew what time Our Lady would appear, as She changed Her time each day. There were tens of thousands of conversions, with people travelling from every state, even from different countries. Wayne was recognized by many, and pilgrims coming to the Field of Apparitions and the Bedroom of Apparitions, were not only thrilled to see Marija and be in Our Lady’s apparitions, but also to meet Wayne in person. Those days where profound and will never be forgotten.”

A Friend of Medjugorje, said tonight after talking tonight to Wayne’s wife, said of Wayne, “We grew up together with Our Lady.”

  2. I just read this post! Wayne Was the individual who assisted in my introduction to Medjugorje. I have and read everyone of them. I also have read others of his books which I will not mention here. I knew he was sick and am so aggrieved at his eventual passing. But, I know he was welcomed into Heaven by Our Lady. He accepted his mission and carried it out as requested. I only hope I can do the same; what ever that mission may be. May Wayne rest in peace. I have also prayed the prayers as the Friend of Medjugorje requested. I will remember Wayne in the forthcoming Masses on Sunday and this coming week. He worked hard for Our Lady!!!

  3. I am familiar with these prayers. I have prayed them for other individuals. I hope they will bring comfort to the soul of Wayne Weible. He has been true to Our Lady and to Our Lord. God bless him!

  4. Thanks for letting us know about Wayne! I just got done praying these prayers, the same ones I prayed for my mom while she was in her last hours, over the phone because I could not be with her. We had just left the bedroom of apparitions at Caritas after praying for my mom and family in May 2017 when I got the message that my mother was dying. Years and years ago I remember picking up one of Wayne’s books, and in the last few years I bought and read nearly every book he wrote. As my husband and I are going to Medjugorje in just over one month, I have been thinking of Wayne and how he helped to instill in me the desire to visit the mystery and the beauty there! Dear Wayne, may your soul rest in peace in heaven!

  5. Wayne’s book, Medjugorje: The Message was what made me believe. I am a convert and went to church with my husband, but I couldn’t ever understand why everyone worshiped Jesus who lived 2,000 years ago. When I read this book it made me realize that Jesus was alive, and also Mary is alive. We are still part of the story. From that time on, over 30 years ago, I have read many, many books on Medjugorje, been to Caritas, and finally going to Medjugorje in a few weeks as a retirement gift to myself and my husband. May God bless Wayne for all he has done for me and others. His work has been fruitful. May God hold him in His loving arms, and please ask Wayne to say “hi” to Mary for me.

  6. I prayed the prayers. Many years ago, I attended a Marian conference here in my hometown. Wayne Weible was one of the speakers. I didn’t know who he was. I sat at the very first row of seats right in front of the podium. He was the first speaker. As I was waiting, a man came & sat next to me. He smiled & I smiled back. Then when his name was called to come up, the man next to me was Wayne Weible. I was blessed with the grace to meet him. Praise God, Dear Mother Mary, pray for us. Thank you A Friend of Medjugorje for sharing your story. God bless everyone.

  7. I prayed the prayers! Thank you for letting us know! One of the first books I read about Medjugorje was written by Wayne! The messages from our Lady sparked my conversion back to God then a searching lost college student. I loved and read most of his books and truly he will be missed but so very grateful for his Yes to God and to our Lady/our Mother. Sad for us but what a glorious time awaits him after working so hard down here!! All Glory to God in His Holy Divine Will

  8. It was through Wayne’s book that I have the relationship I have today with the Lord. Prayers going out to him.

  9. I am very sad to hear of Wayne’s circumstances as when reading his books I understood more of the Lady’s apparitions. He came to Aruba and we were honored with his presence. I trust that with God’s help his wife and family will take great comfort in the Lords strength and I can say that my thoughts and prayers are with you all during this sad time. Have confidence in Jesus’love, He will not let you alone.

  10. I was actually up at 3:00 AM praying my Divine Mercy Chaplet and always add the intention “for anyone who may be dying right now”. Also, said several St Gertude prayers. Now I just prayed the 3 beautiful prayers for Wayne. I said these prayers when both my mother and father were dying. After being on my knees crying and praying outside my mother’s bedroom, the next morning a friend called me. Not knowing I had prayed those prayers, she told me, “God has heard your prayers. You are to relax and enjoy your time with your mother.”

  11. May the angels welcome him to paradise, may the martyrs greet him on his way. May he see the face of the Lord this day. Alleluia! Alleluia!

  12. I am very sad to hear of Wayne’s circumstances as it was his books that gave me greater understanding of Medjugorje. I hope his wife and family will take great comfort in the Lords strength and my thoughts and prayers are with you all during this sad time.

  13. Wayne Weible, your newspaper and his books are responsible for my conversion to Catholicism in 1992. I prayed these prayers for Wayne as well as my own and pray that Our Lady will come to get him and take him home. You have both changed my life in so many ways and I am eternally grateful. Much love, Sandy Serna

  14. It was through Wayne’s book that I made my way to Medjugorje through Caritas with the help of my good friend Mary. By chance I saved the book from the discarded books took it home, read it and knew I had to go to Medjugorje. With much prayer it came to fruition. Thank you Wayne and may the mercy of Christ lift you to eternity for all your good works.

  15. Christine Anderson

God bless and have mercy on his soul, Blessed Mary Mother of God, be present with your faithful child during his last hour of death… Holy Spirit pour out your comforting graces upon his family. Eternal Father, let your perpetual light shine upon his soul, welcome into your kingdom this faithful servant. Amen (tears) Wayne has brought many people to Our Lady and Her Son, Jesus Christ…what a witness… what a blessing.

  16. Done and said a Divine Mercy Chaplet for him as well. Thank you & God bless you for extending this grace for Wayne ~
