A Little Detail About the Providential Character of the Matching Pledges and the Backup Power System…

Several Providential things have come together that show the hand of Our Lady in these matching funds pledges and the necessity of the backup power system. It shows also all your prayers are being answered. Please keep praying.
The first providential occurrence is that a Caritas Field Angel, who is also an electrical engineer, offered to donate his time to design the backup power system and build out something that would be the best for our purposes and cost value. He spent three days here at Caritas recently, going through our electrical system to map, design, and estimate the cost of the backup power system. We have been working with him for the past few weeks on this design. This is a major step, and a rather large project to do, however, this man has been very gracious because of his love for Our Lady and Caritas, and the system design is near complete. He wrote to us after his three day visit to Caritas:
Dear Caritas Community,
I deeply thank you for the hospitality you’ve shown me in this short amount of time that I’ve been here. Every time I come here I learn more about the most basic messages of Our Lady of Medjugorje and I grow in prayer, fasting and conversion. You’ve given me way more than I could ever give you in return…(more than you will ever know.)
Through the intercession of Our Lady, I ask for strength from God to help us when we grow weak or tired and to follow Mary’s example of amplifying our prayers in difficult times.
I pray deeply for your intentions and for the success of all the projects you are working on. Nothing of fine quality comes easy! I offer my time, talent, and treasure as best as I can and always look forward to the next time that I can visit, pray and work together with all of you. It’s been a blessing and a pleasure to be here again.

This faithful supporter’s donated time alone on the evaluation and design of the system has already saved the mission thousands of dollars. This is not just about backing up a computer, but rather supporting a whole system operating with a team of 20 to 30 people.
A second providential thing occurred to make the goal more reachable. A donor who wants to remain anonymous sent in a matching fund donation of $4,700, which came about as an amazing result of praying about what to donate and offering a “spiritual condition” to the donation. She wrote:
“I had been waiting on a check from my deceased father’s insurance policy… July 1, inspired by Our Lady, I told Her that if I received a check that day or by Monday July 3, I would give it to Her for Medjugorje.com. On that day, July 1, my husband went to our mailbox and brought in an envelope saying, ‘I don’t know what this is.’ Upon opening it, it was the check. We discussed Caritas’ request and my husband said, ‘What about the matching amount?’ We weren’t sure how much that should be, but decided to do a 100% matching donation. We give all credit to Our Lady as She is very prompt to answer our prayers!”
Their “spiritual condition” was met and their donation was added to the matching amount from the first source, which brought the total funds possible for matching to $64,700!
The hand of Our Lady is gracing this push to gather the remaining funds for Medjugorje.com. Please respond immediately and generously. Thank you, and God bless you.
