December 20, 2016 A.D.
Our Lady of Medjugorje said through Marija in the Bedroom of Apparitions on November 25, 2016:
Two Caritas Community girls hold hands while they ride ponies. It is interesting to think that at this time, Mary would have been riding a donkey on the way to Bethlehem. Our Lady lived in a simple agrarian system of life. Certainly, Our Lady remembers with fondness this life. Perhaps this is why Our Lady repeatedly refers to this way of life.
Simplicity is something that many have even tried to complicate. Yet Our Lady said this is the key to a happy life.
1984
Our Lady said that She is here to guide us towards holiness and a simple life. Therefore, the key to happiness is in following Her. A Friend of Medjugorje says:
“…Even for those who, through the years, followed Our Lady, many fail to stop in their tracks and reorder their lives to allow themselves to be completely captivated and led by the most beautiful woman God has ever created. To be chosen by Our Lady and to disregard or not fulfill Her call, will be detrimental to your future with the dark factual reality of future life on earth… We will lament over the lost time and how our lives would have turned out if we would have applied the messages fully in the time of grace…”1
As most work begins to slow down during this Christmas time, and we take time to break from our normal routines, now is the time to evaluate what changes for us at Christmas. Does our life continue to stay the same, unhappy, burdened, etc.? Make a decision to follow Our Lady in a new way. Let this year be different, and you will find your life to become different.
