Tiredness is in Our Human Nature

Tiredness is in Our Human Nature

May 1, 2020 A.D.

Here we are approaching the 39th anniversary of the apparitions in just under two months. Did you know that way back in 1984 Our Lady said:

February 27, 1984

“Do not be tired. I desire to be with you.”

Tiredness is in our human nature. But, how should one who is involved in Medjugorje be, especially now that Our Lady is no longer appearing to Mirjana on the second of the month?

The Blue Cross at Sunset

(Medjugorje photo taken Monday July 1, 2019, 7:23 PM) – The Blue Cross at sunset. This picture was taken by a Caritas Community member, while keeping vigil for the second of the month apparition, which was to take place the next day. How many people spent the night on the mountian, awaiting Our Lady?

As we approach the second of the month without Our Lady’s apparition to Mirjana, have you already forgotten about the importance of that day? Have you grown tired yet? A few years ago, a Friend of Medjugorje wrote four simple sentences that gives what we should feel in our hearts:

Our Lady is not yet tired. Be an apostle. Do not get tired. In the end, you will be the happiest for having stayed with Our Lady…

Our Lady Said Not to Grow Tired in Prayer – June 22, 2018

Our Lady did not stop appearing to Mirjana on the second of the month because She was tired. A Friend of Medjugorje covered that very clearly in the March 18, 2020, Radio Wave, titled, Why Did Our Lady Stop the Second of the Month Apparitons? Take 45 minutes to re-listen, and do not let your human nature make your spirit tired. And, be on the lookout for a second of the month writing, a special look at something never before told – released on Monday May 4. Be in prayer.

I have been tired for working hard. However, I did not let that stop me from working hard. I just kept busy at my work. I felt I had to finish this job. As a result of tasks that I performed… A peculiar thing happened. I developed a lot of stamina. How is that good?

  2. YES! I spent the night in vigil…it was so cold!!! But what a memory. Being right there to see Mirjana’s face when Our Lady appeared to her. I will NEVER forget it. We sang, prayed and giggled all night. I will continue to share my experience with my children and grandchildren (when I get them :-). Thank you Caritas, BVM and Our Lady.
