The evening of the Vigil of Independence Day of the United States, July 3, 2013, Our Lady appeared at Her usual time at 6:40 p.m. in the Bedroom of Apparitions, but then said that She would appear again at 10:30 p.m. in the Field for a second apparition that same day; a very special and unexpected grace that brought great joy to everyone who had come for the apparitions. That evening, a special Rosary was prayed for the healing of the United States in preparation for the apparition. Marija said that Our Lady came and watched all those present and extended Her hands over them and prayed for a long time over them. For the July 4th apparition, Our Lady said She would appear in the Field at a quarter to seven in the evening. In the afternoon the mountain of the Cross was opened and the first public veneration of the Cross took place after several thousand prayed the Stations of the Cross as they climbed. This prayer was offered for Our Lady to accept the Consecration being made this day uniting the United States to the Cross of Jesus. After making it down from the mountain, everyone gathered in the Field for the apparition of Our Lady. Thousands were present for the apparition and the Re-consecration of the United States into the hands of Our Lady and for the feast of the birth of the United States. The Rosary was prayed followed by the Solemn Act of Consecration. Marija said to Our Lady that she wanted to put all the prayer intentions of the people under Her mantle and Our Lady started smiling, stretched Her hands, and started praying over everyone. Marija said:
“And I asked Her to bring all our hearts to Her Immaculate Heart, and through this, to the Holy Heart of Jesus. Our Lady smiled again, gave Her blessing to the objects, and said: ‘Go in peace.’ She didn’t give us a message but Her smile, and this is a joy for all of us. May God bless you all.”
Marija added that Our Lady came happy tonight.
