Tsunami Sirens Sound in Hawaii

Tsunami Sirens Sound in Hawaii

Tsunami sirens went off in Hawaii after a Hawaii based center called for “urgent action to protect lives and property.” Charles McCreery, director of the center said that he expected the waves to be the largest to hit Hawaii since 1964. In response to the sirens, and because Our Lady of Medjugorje said on December 26, 1982:

“You have forgotten that through prayer and fasting you can…suspend the laws of nature.”

A Friend of Medjugorje sent out a call through Medjugorje.com that spread worldwide. Thousands of Our Lady’s children responded to the call to prayer and as a result, the tsunami was much smaller than what had been expected. Gerald Fryer, with the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center said:

“It’s beginning to look like we escaped sort of with the skin of our teeth.”
