The World Trade Center in New York City, and the Pentagon in Washington, D.C., were the target of a heinous terrorist attack where nearly 3,000 Americans were killed. Several airliners were highjacked and used as missiles as they were flown into the World Trade Center and Pentagon. A third target was averted when the passengers on the airplane fought back and downed the plane in an empty field in Pennsylvania. In Medjugorje, during Ivan’s daily apparition, Our Lady appeared to him crying. She gave no message, but silent tears streamed down Her face throughout the entire apparition. Our Lady’s messages leading up to this event gave evidence that Heaven was warning of some impending disaster. On June 25, 2000, Our Lady said:
