Second of the Month Apparition

Every August in Medjugorje, the International Youth Festival gathers together thousands of youth from around the world. More than any other time of the year, there are thousands of youth present for Mirjana’s apparition on August 2. Our Lady has said that today’s youth are in a very difficult situation. So many of them come from broken families, and have so many assaults on their innocence from very young ages. The materialistic world creates in them a desire for the world. At the beginning of Mirjana’s August 2, 2007, apparition, Our Lady showed Mirjana what is awaiting those if there is not holiness in their hearts or a brotherly union in Christ. Mirjana, choosing her words carefully, stated, “It was not nice at all.” Our Lady then asked us to pray for our shepherds because She said that without them there is no unity. Her message:

“…Today I look in your hearts and looking at them my Heart seizes with pain. My children! I ask of you unconditional, pure love for God. You will know that you are on the right path when you will be on earth with your body and with your soul always with God. Through this unconditional and pure love, you will see My Son in every person. You will feel oneness in God. As a Mother, I will be happy because I will have your holy and united hearts. My children, I will have your salvation. Thank you.”
