Pope Francis, when addressing the priests of the Diocese of Rome said:
“Listen to the voice of the Spirit that speaks to the whole Church in this our time, which is, in fact, the time of mercy. I am certain of this… We have been living in the time of mercy for 30 or more years, up to now. It is the time of mercy in the whole Church…â€
This theme of Divine Mercy resonated so strongly in Pope Francis that he proclaimed the Year of Mercy for the year 2016. A Friend of Medjugorje wrote that Medjugorje is the greatest sign of God’s mercy in this time—His Mercy has sent his Mother daily for so many years to call man back to His Heart, through the merciful Heart of Our Lady.
