A Friend of Medjugorje and the Community of Caritas gathered with others from across the United States at Independence Hall in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania at the same time as tens of thousands praying in their prayer groups from across the United States, and other countries, united in prayer for the United States upcoming Presidential election. Those praying believed strongly that the United States was at a crossroads and were in need of Heaven’s intervention for the presidency. This was a historic event as it was the first time that the Patriotic Rosary was prayed publically at the place where the founder of Caritas was inspired to write it, as well as the place where the United States of America was birthed. On this same day there were also 15,000 Rosary rallies being prayed throughout the United States, many of the rallies praying the Patriotic Rosary. The recitation of the Rosary coincided with the time of Our Lady’s apparition in Medjugorje in which everyone present was asking Our Lady’s intercession that the hand of God would protect the elections and would raise to office Her choice for President of the United States and for the return of the United States back to God.
