From Mexico City, Marija, her husband Paolo, and Caritas’ founder and his wife continued their Evangelization pilgrimage, stopping next in Ecuador. This was the second of three locations at which Marija would be present. The apparition, in which thousands attended, took place at La Costa Country Club in Guayaquil, Ecuador. The father of the family that hosted Marija in Ecuador had been miraculously cured in an apparition in Alabama, when he attended the apparitions in March 2011 at Caritas of Birmingham. His miracle was dramatic in that he was given just two weeks to live after his latest tests showed that his entire bodied was riddled with cancer.
