Kentucky Clerk, Kim Davis, in Jail

Kentucky Clerk, Kim Davis, in Jail

Kentucky clerk, Kim Davis, a Christian, was ordered to appear in court and later sent to jail after her refusal to ‘obey’ the Kentucky Supreme Court’s order for her to issue marriage licenses to those living perverted, abominable false civil unions masking as marriage. When asked to tell by what authority did she act against the State Supreme Court, the clerk responded, “By God’s authority.” In this same period of time, Pope Francis arrived for his first visit to the United States from September 22-27, 2015. He visited three major cities, Washington, D.C., New York, and Philadelphia. In a speech given in the shadow of Independence Hall in Philadelphia, he stated:

“In this place which is symbolic of the American way, I would like to reflect with you on the right to religious freedom. It is a fundamental right…it certainly means the right to worship God, individually and in community, as our consciences dictate…”

The rights of believers to practice their faith openly and live by their conscience is under severe attack in the United States. Christians, more than any other faith, are experiencing grave discrimination forced to either accept unbiblical behavior against their conscience or suffer severe penalties as what was happening to Kim Davis. Pope Francis met with Ms. Davis privately to encourage her and commend her courage. Just two years earlier,on March 2, 2013 Our Lady warned:

“…Do not shut your eyes to the warnings which the Heavenly Father sends to you out of love. Do you love Him above all else?…Along with your prayers and fasting, by His Cross, my Son will cast away the darkness that wants to surround you and come to rule over you…you will be a blessing and a hope to all those sinners who wander in the darkness of sin…”
