Pope Francis joyfully received a statue of Our Lady of Medjugorje in St. Peter’s Square. The statue was a gift from Medjugorje visionary, Vicka, and was delivered to him by Charbel Maroun, the President of the Marian Movement in Galilee. Maroun said of his encounter with the Pope: “I told the Holy Father that I was coming directly from Medjugorje. And I told him that this gift was from the visionary Vicka from Medjugorje. He looked at me with a big smile, then looked at the statue and took it. Then he told me with great joy, ‘Thank you very much.’ He was delighted and thanked me a lot for this gift.â€
