A Friend of Medjugorje shared recently that when we live moments in ‘real-time’, many things are not understood until after they pass. What follows is one month’s worth of real-time events which we have passed through. Now we will look at them, as a Friend of Medjugorje says, “with the lens of the messages.”
A Prophetic Word – Tuesday, February 15, 2022
On February 15, 2022, a Friend of Medjugorje wrote about the alignment of the stars, which would take place before dawn on March 28, 2022. But what was most remarkable, was the words he used to explain to what is happening in our world:
“The world is in darkness today. A blind darkness so severe that man cannot see to navigate back to see the light he has lost… Our Lady is here for us so that our hearts will not be in the dark, but rather that we will be able to see in the dark.”
His words, we would find out, would mean much over the next month.
Ukraine, February 24, 2022
Russian troops begin an invasion of Ukraine. A deep darkness falls over Ukraine and Europe as many realize this may become a major conflict.
The Next Day – Medjugorje, February 25, 2022
Our Lady gives a message for the world through Marija. Our Lady says:
“…Help me with prayer, little children, that satan may not prevail. his power of death, hatred, and fear has visited the earth… Little children, if you do not return to God and His Commandments, you do not have a future…”
The Vatican City, Rome, March 15, 2022
The Holy Father announces that he will consecrate all of mankind, especially Russia and Ukraine to the Immaculate Heart of Mary on March 25, 2022, coincidentally, the same day that Our Lady will give a message in Medjugorje.
An Odd Time – Thursday March 17, 2022
We found out that Our Lady’s apparition to Mirjana would take place at an odd time, 1:40 PM Medjugorje time – a time which Our Lady has never appeared before to Mirjana, on March 18. That would mean that the apparition time in Alabama would be 7:40 AM. The time was so odd, that a Friend of Medjugorje wrote about it here.
Mirjana’s Apparition, Friday March 18, 2022
On the morning of March 18, 2022, the Caritas pilgrims gathered with a Friend of Medjugorje and the Caritas Community in the Field of Apparitions at Caritas, Alabama, to pray at the same time Our Lady would appear in Medjugorje. The Medjugorje apparition time in Alabama would be 7:40 AM.
As we gathered in the Field, in silence, storm clouds were already gathering. The normal light of dawn coming through the clouds instead grew darker and darker.
We remembered a Friend of Medjugorje’s words quoted earlier about March 18:
“A blind darkness so severe that man cannot see to navigate back to see the light he has lost…”

Feb. 15, 2022, Writing, “March 18, 2022”
Within a few minutes of Our Lady’s apparition, we were literally plunged into darkness in the Field.
Storm clouds were already gathering when we began to pray in the Field. The Cross is in the background behind the Field.
This was what the Weather Service showed at 6:34 AM, when we were gathering the Field. A very strong line of storms were moving towards Caritas.
Just before apparition time, the sky was noticeably darker from just a few minutes before.
Right at 7:40 AM, the time of the apparition to Mirjana in Medjugorje, a lightning bolt struck nearby.
The pictures below show what followed for the next five minutes.
Several people confessed they were very scared during the storm. A Friend of Medjugorje spoke about it later in the day:
“But several people already said they were scared. But Our Lady wanted you to see this. Did you hear the lightning? It wasn’t p-kew! It was like [GROWLING NOISE]. It’s growling. Our Lady’s showing, and She let that storm come in, with the wind. She’s with us to show you, you have nothing to fear, even by that Pine Tree—a lightning rod. Why are you scared? “If you’re with Me (Our Lady), there’s no reason to be afraid of the devil.” If you’re afraid of the devil, She’s there with you. And the lightning striking so loud and close was representing satan.”
Our Lady said through Mirjana on this day, March 18, 2022:
“…I am calling you to—full of strength, faith and trust—look towards my Son. Keep opening your hearts to Him and do not be afraid…”
A Friend of Medjugorje said to the group later in the day, that during the storm, he knew Our Lady’s message would contain the words, “do not be afraid.”
Again, a Friend of Medjugorje’s prophetic words on February 15, 2022:
“The world is in darkness today. A blind darkness so severe that man cannot see to navigate back to see the light he has lost… Our Lady is here for us so that our hearts will not be in the dark, but rather that we will be able to see in the dark.”
In the midst of the storm on March 18, 2022, while were plunged into darkness, Our Lady said through Mirjana on March 18, 2022:
“…my Son is the Light of the world…”
“…So that my Son, with His light of love and hope, may illuminate also their hearts…”
The odd time of the apparition to Mirjana at 1:40 Medjugorje time, coincided with the moment of a great storm which appeared over the Field at the same moment of Mirjana’s apparition, during which the sky plunged us into darkness, giving all the feel of living through a Biblical moment. Just a small amount of only 10 minutes before or after would have had a different outcome. The fierceness of the storm happened at 7:40 AM Alabama time.
Vatican City, Rome March 23, 2022 – Return to the Commandments
The Holy Father, in a letter to the Bishops around the world stated:
“…This Act of Consecration [of Russia and Ukraine] is meant to be a gesture of the universal Church, which in this dramatic moment lifts up to God, through his Mother and ours, the cry of pain of all those who suffer and implore an end to the violence, and to entrust the future of our human family to the Queen of Peace.”
The Holy Father’s message to the world’s Bishops continued:
“Since it is fitting that we should invoke peace with hearts renewed by God’s forgiveness, the Act of Consecration will take place in the context of a Celebration of Penance (Confession) to be held in Saint Peter’s Basilica…”
This Entrustment to the Queen of Peace happens within the context of a Penance service, reminding us Our Lady’s words spoken almost a month before on February 25, 2022:
“…Little children, if you do not return to God and His Commandments, you do not have a future…”
These words would literally be fulfilled on March 25, 2022, during the Consecration of all mankind, especially Russia and Ukraine.
The Entrustment of the future of the world to the Queen of Peace happened in the context of a penance service, returning to God’s Commandments.
March 25, 2022 – Our Lady Speaks, The Church Speaks
A Friend of Medjugorje felt called to drop everything and be with Marija in Medjugorje. It was the first time anyone from the Caritas Community had been in Medjugorje since March 2020.
On March 25, 2022, in Medjugorje, a Friend of Medjugorje was with Marija. Along with six priests, with a large group behind them. They prayed the Consecration prayer to Our Lady just before the Marija’s apparition. This happened half an hour before the Act of Consecration of Russia and Ukraine takes place in Rome. Our Lady gave a message through Marija. Our Lady said:
“…I am listening to your cry and prayers for peace. For years, satan has been fighting for war. That is why God sent me among you to guide you on the way of holiness, because mankind is at a crossroad…”
Our Lady appeared near the period in which the Holy Father was praying before the statue of Our Lady. The Holy Father said:
“We now turn to you and knock at the door of your heart. We are your beloved children. In every age you make yourself known to us, calling us to conversion.”
Just before the Holy Father’s Consecration on March 25, 2022, , Our Lady said:
“I am calling you to return to God and to God’s Commandments that it may be good for you on earth.”
Going back a month before, Our Lady said on February 25, 2022, to return to God’s Commandments if we want a future.
The Holy Father chooses to make an act of Consecration within the context of a penance service.
As a repeat, one month later, Our Lady appears on the same day as the Holy Father’s Consecration on March 25, and says, again, to return to God and His Commandments.
And yet again, a Friend of Medjugorje’s words of February 15, 2022, which we began this update with:
“The world is in darkness today. A blind darkness so severe that man cannot see to navigate back to see the light he has lost… Our Lady is here for us so that our hearts will not be in the dark, but rather that we will be able to see in the dark.”
We have been lost because we have left the Commandments.
A Friend of Medjugorje tells us Our Lady is here to help us see through the darkness. The Holy Father’s prayer of Consecration to Our Lady:
“At this dark hour, help us and grant us your comfort.”
The Holy Father prayed:
“We trust that, through your heart, peace will dawn once more. To you we consecrate the future…”
A Friend of Medjugorje made it clear on the March 25, 2022, broadcast, “Opening the Door to Destroying Christendom,” that our only path to have a future, is to return to God and His Commandments. All of the ingredients have been put together for God to allow Our Lady to act, if we return to God’s Commandments.
There’s More…
Even with the March 18 and March 25 events taking place in Rome and Medjugorje and the storm in the Field on March 18, we at Caritas have lived through a Friend of Medjugorje’s February 15, 2022, words in a particular way.
In early February, Our Lady had given us special messages picked during our morning prayer which inspired a Friend of Medjugorje to have the Caritas Community do special novenas of prayer and fasting.
We did not know why Our Lady was asking for these prayers and fasting, but a Friend of Medjugorje knew we needed to respond.
Especially we have been praying for the protection of Our Lady’s Valley here at Caritas.
Caritas – March 12, 2022
On the morning of March 12, 2022, a Friend of Medjugorje and the Community of Caritas met in retreat. A Friend of Medjugorje addressed several things threatening Our Lady’s valley, but especially, a Friend of Medjugorje spoke about the state of our world and our need to be even more ready for what the future holds.
The message we picked at random from Words from Heaven this morning was April 2, 2012:
“Do not be afraid, you are not alone. Give me your hands and I will lead you.”
Halfway into the retreat, on a perfectly clear day, the power went out.
While our backup generators immediately started up and kept our servers, phones and other systems running, they do not run the lights, which is on a different power. We continued our retreat with the light off, sitting in the darkness.
Our Lady’s words to us, to not be afraid, that She will lead us, were even more strong, while sitting in the darkness and remembering something else a Friend of Medjugorje wrote on February 15, 2022:
“…The antichrist system is built. The system, driven by the devil, is only waiting to flip the switch and you will not be able to buy or sell, as it is transitioning now…”
A Friend of Medjugorje was laying a very clear direction to us for the future during our retreat, and though we were sitting in the dark, we had the light of Our Lady’s guidance to lead us.
Entered Into The Fire – March 26, 2022
Jumping ahead through all of the events of March 18 and the March 25 Consecration, on the afternoon of March 26, 2022, in Medjugorje, a Friend of Medjugorje sat down in the Radio Wave studio at the Caritas Mission House in Medjugorje and recorded the broadcast for the 25th message.
The broadcast did not air on the 25th, because a Friend of Medjugorje was with Marija and the timing for recording the Radio Wave broadcast could not happen. He decided to record and air the broadcast the next day, Saturday, March 26.
Near the end of the broadcast a Friend of Medjugorje said:
“This war in Russia and Ukraine can go throughout the whole world. Our Lady just told us. She says, ‘That is why God sent me among you to guide you on the way of holiness because mankind is at a crossroads… I call on you to return to God and to God’s commandments, that it may be good for you on earth, and that you may come out of the crisis into which you have entered.’ We have entered into the fire. We are in that…”
Just after these words were recorded, something which we did not know about was going on over the mountain behind the Tabernacle of Our Lady’s Messages.
Someone was burning a brush pile, and in a matter of minutes, the wind took the fire up the mountain. The person called the fire department and before long, several departments were working the fire.
The fire continued to burn and spread, and shortly before 8:00 PM, Caritas time, just when the broadcast with a Friend of Medjugorje was about to air, we were contacted by the owner of several thousand acres behind the Tabernacle of Our Lady’s Messages at Caritas.
The message sent to us was very terse:
“Fire coming across mountain. Help as you can.”
A Friend of Medjugorje has had us put together an emergency plan that everyone here knows by heart.
We immediately sent two Community members up the mountain to check it out. It was a little after 8:00 PM and completely dark at this point.
To drive up, the Community members passed by a special place where a Friend of Medjugorje wrote the “Prayer for the Abode of God,” a special prayer of Consecration of the whole valley for Our Lady’s plans which is prayed after every Rosary in the Field for apparition time.
As they passed the special spot, the Community members going up started seeing the smoke from the fire and could see the flames coming up over the peak, which was about a mile and a half away from Caritas.
A helicopter was flying overhead to give guidance to the crews battling from the other side of the mountain and the new fire crews on the Caritas side of the mountain.
This picture was taken by a local news crew the first night of the fire. Caritas is on the opposite side of this mountain.
This was the flames as seen from the bell tower of the Tabernacle of Our Lady’s Messages. The headlights from the Community members can be seen driving back down the mountain.
The fire crews worked until about 2:30 in the morning. All was calm through Sunday morning.
Sunday – March 27, 2022
While the Caritas Community was gathered in the Field for the daily Rosary, which at the same time a Friend of Medjugorje was with Marija in Medjugorje, it was a very windy day. During the Rosary, we could see the smoke plumes from the fire start again. The wind had broken the fire into three different groups, with two of them directly behind the Tabernacle, about a mile away.
Within minutes the fire department and forestry service were racing up the Caritas driveway. The men of the Community ran from the Field up to Caritas to meet them. The fire department told us the fires started again and they needed a way up the mountain.
One of the Caritas Community members directed them to a gate down the road.
The Community men then readied hoses on the perimeter of Caritas, as well as two fire trucks.
Ten years ago, a Friend of Medjugorje saw that one day we would need to protect ourselves in case of a fire. He knew that “911” would not always be there. He found two good trucks, one a pumper truck, and the other, an all-terrain attack truck.
A Friend of Medjugorje’s son, Tony, walked the path with one of the land managers of the large tract of land to lay out firebreaks. The dozers went to work.
The forestry service called in their helicopter from Montgomery, an hour and a half away.

There was no rest on Sunday, while everyone was in a state of readiness to be able to act on a moment’s notice.

Monday- March 28 – The Sign in the Heavens
The writing from a Friend of Medjugorje on February 15, 2022, which we began with, was about a special celestial event taking place.
Just before dawn on the morning of March 28, Venus, Saturn and Mars were aligning in a triangle. Even more remarkable was that a crescent moon would also appear on the scene as well. A Friend of Medjugorje wrote about the event:
“What will happen on March 28th? Three bright lights, in the heavens, will come together in a tight triangle, representing the Trinity. A trinity formed by Venus, Mars and Saturn. We know Our Lady is the highest being in Heaven, who is there before the Trinity.
“The highlight of March 28th, which can be seen best just before dawn, will be when the crescent moon will pass before the formed triangle, representing Our Lady before the Trinity.”
The moon was rising behind the Cross on the mountain. The three stars are hidden behind the clouds.
In the midst of this beautiful heavenly event, the Caritas Community was standing in readiness and making preparation to protect Our Lady’s Valley and the grounds at Caritas from the fire. The fire trucks were being fine-tuned for operations, and the Community mostly kept an eye on events while still operating the mission of Caritas and our daily duties. We continued to check in with the crews up the mountain.
On Monday March 28, 2022, the Forestry Service helicopters landed in the field to attach their water bucket.
The Tree in the Field is seen directly behind the helicopter ready to go back out to the fire.
Helicopters again dumped water on the fire while dozers continued to work fire breaks. In the lower left of the picture, the roofs from one of our barns can be seen, as one can see by the smoke how close it came to Caritas.
At around 1:30 PM on Monday, March 28, some of the Community was outside in the Field and noticed black smoke rising – but not on the mountain behind the Tabernacle, but on the Field side of the road!
The smoke was black and thick.
The black smoke seen was not from the wildfire behind the Tabernacle of Our Lady’s Messages side of the road, but across the street, on the Field of Apparitions side of the road.
One of the neighbors walked outside and saw a fire burning out of control and called 911. The fire department already stretched thin in manpower and resources asked if we could bring our fire truck.
A Friend of Medjugorje’s son and several Community members raced next door with one of our trucks, while some of the girls hopped on horses and raced next door as well.
One of our two fire trucks racing down the road next door to put out the fire. This is an attack fire truck for just the type of fires we were asked to help.
Several of the girls hopped on horses and took off for next door.
With the attack fire truck, it brought the spreading fire under control quickly.
The other fire crews on the main fire behind Caritas worked into the evening and by the end of the day on March 28, all of the fire was under either out or under control.
A “Visitor” Showed Up
Something else happened in the middle of the events of the day, March 28, 2022.
We had a “visitor” who walked right into Caritas from the mountain.
A lone coyote, perhaps driven by the flames further up the mountain walks right into Caritas.
In Caritas’ history, coyotes have symbolized the devil. During the early years when a Friend of Medjugorje would undergo fierce persecutions, he would stand firm. While praying in the mountains or in the Field, the coyotes could be heard howling. There were times in the very early years of Caritas that a coyote would come into the Field. It has been years since a coyote has been seen anywhere near Caritas in broad daylight.
Through all the events which happened with the fire, it was not a coincidence that the fire was finally brought under control on the day of the “Heavenly event” of the “Trinity” appearing in the sky with Our Lady as the moon.
The Final Word
We share all of these events with you as they have spoken to us in a profound way during these days. A Friend of Medjugorje has taught us that every event has a spiritual lesson. Here are a few of the events to re-cap:

Interestingly, a Friend of Medjugorje wrote in the February 15, 2022, writing:
“Our Lady calls the world to go straight to God to save the world… Our Lady said:
March 25, 1990
“’…God wants to save you and sends you messages through men, nature, and so many things which can only help you to understand that you must change the direction of your life…’”
We have certainly been sent messages by God “through men, nature and so many things,” over the past month and half.
But why?
Some of a Friend of Medjugorje’s words from the February 15, 2022, writing tells us why, and they provide on last prophetic insight for us, to convey to you:
“The Woman is here to crush the head of this system, mortally wounding it’s head. It will only come back to life somewhere in the future, be it 5 years, 50 years, or 500 years, no one knows. What we do know is Our Lady preceded Jesus the first time and Our Lady is preceding Jesus for His Second Coming. What Our Lady is giving now is a witness in our time of how we survived an antichrist system for those who will live through the period of the incarnate antichrist and his system, somewhere in the future.”
A Friend of Medjugorje has lived through events in his formation with Our Lady, which has strengthened the formation of the Community and the mission of Caritas.
We lived through something in order to share it with you, for whatever witness it has for your readiness to live through what the future may bring.
A Friend of Medjugorje shared with the Caritas pilgrimage group on March 18, 2022:
“Jesus didn’t do everything He did two thousand years ago that it would be forgotten. From two thousand years ago to today, this is the reset, because Christianity is really at a possibility of ending. What do you have to have to bring it back? Get it persecuted. Get it in position. Get rid of the fat, and people who’s going to really do it.”
If there is anything these experiences over the past month and a half should mean to everyone is to “be ready.”
And as we began this update with a Friend of Medjugorje’s words, so now we end this with what a Friend of Medjugorje said on March 18, 2022:
“I was totally at peace [during the storm]. I was not even having to worry about what’s going to happen. And that’s the way Our Lady wants you to be. If you’re with Her, no matter what happens, don’t be afraid, even if frightful things are going to happen.”

When packing bales in our field at midnight coyotes used to be in the distance. You could see the reflection of the tractor light in their eyes. They were two or three usually and we learned not to fear. When the hawling was listened during the night we just knew they were far and affraid of us but today becomes clear that they were not really affraid of us but our heavenly protection. Our Lady is getting us closer to the soil and is keeping us fighting against darkness in so many ways that one can feel a very alive connection with Caritas. The wind, the fields, the horses, the sun, the moonlight, everything is leading us to God and keeping our hearts in a beautiful bursting rythm of life.

Amazing and even more realistic since we were in the field for the storm on March 18th. And now we know the rest of the story and the meaning behind all that transpired. There are no coincidences with God. The pictures tell the story in real time and just as the fire was burning on the mountain there was a fire burning in my heart as I read about this. Storms come in many forms…rain, wind, thunder, lightning, hail, fire, but Our Lady calls us to be calm. For those of us present in the Field on March 18th are not the following words what was experienced?
The following are words from Jesus to Servant of God Luisa Piccarreta.
Storms have no strength to upset (souls filled with God) even slightly, because there is no strength that can defy God; at the most they feel it superficially. Even more, as the soul detects the storm, she puts the virtues in order, and goes to nest in the inmost depths of God. So, while externally there seems to be a storm, it is completely false- it is then that the soul enjoys more peace, and rests, tranquil, in the bosom of God, just like the fish in the bosom of the sea.
Courage, my daughter – courage to souls resolute to do good. They are imperturbable under any storm; and while they hear the roaring of the thunders and lightnings to the point of trembling, and remain under the pouring rain that pours over them, they use the water to be washed and come out more beautiful; and heedless of the storm, they are more than ever resolute and courageous in not moving from the good they have started. Discouragement is of irresolute souls, which never arise at accomplishing a good. Courage sets the way, courage puts to flight any storm, courage is the bread of the strong, courage is the warlike one that knows how to win any battle. Therefore, good daughter, courage, do not fear.

What a testimony of Mother Mary’s protection and demonstration of our need to not be afraid and to trust God in all circumstances even when crisis is at our door. This fire reminds me of the one in Medjugorje near blue cross. It burned but did not consume. Mejabama and Medjugorje are joined at the hip, so to speak. Our Lady’s flame of Love is coming to triumph. We are in the fire and cannot stop what is coming but must be ready to jump into action for Heaven. Our Lady of the Revelation has a feast day and it is April 11th.
A Novena started yesterday. She appeared to the children of a man who wanted to kill the Pope because he hated the Catholic Church and was studying to be an Adventist minister. The apparition changed his life. These apparitions at Caritas and Medjugorje are in the midst of changing the United States and the world. Our Lady is the “wind of change”.
Our Bishops participated out of obedience to the Pope for the Consecration of Russia and Ukraine. In doing so did they receive her graces to effect a change in THEIR own hearts. Our Lady has said that she won’t triumph without her Bishops.
We must continue to pray for them to receive the graces for their conversion and accept the change she wants to begin in them. Our Lady Queen of Peace, Ora Pro Nobis.

I hold onto a Miraculous Medal of Our Lady. That is the physical way I give Her my hands. I need her so much. I would either be dead without Her or tossed this way and that way like a Reed bending with whatever direction the wind blows.
