During the October 2, 2016 apparition Our Lady said:
Our Lady is with us, to witness to us. Her witness is to encourage and test. The walk towards sainthood is a test, a test that often does not find rest. However, Our Lady is not intending to crush our spirit, even if the test seems to crush us. The purpose is to make us stronger, to make us saints. This is the call of Our Lady through Medjugorje, and in this call we are encouraged to continue ahead despite the daily tests we face.
