The Strategy of…

September 1, 2016 A.D.

In the world in which we live, satan contends with God in trying to overpower souls. Our Lady tells us:

September 2, 1981

“…the devil tries to reign over the people. he takes everything into his hands, but the force of God is more powerful, and God will conquer…”

But how can this happen when all seems lost around us?

Our Lady warns us that satan desires to take everything into his hands. This includes nations. In the book, They Fired the First Shot 2012, a Friend of Medjugorje tells of how evil wants to rule in this world and destroy it:

“…The attacks against our liberties and our faith are no longer being made just yearly or monthly or even daily, but now by the hour they march against us… To defeat this assault Catholics, Christians and all people of good will, should have strategies to prevail in our faith and principles which are simple. No need for a complex formula. One goal, one aim. A strategy, like the heroic Christians of the past:

“We win. They lose. Nothing less.”¹

What is the strategy to prevail?

The strategy is revival. A Friend of Medjugorje continues in They Fired the First Shot:

“…We are entering a period that apart from Christ, there is no future. Our Lady of Medjugorje said on December 25, 2008:

“…without Him (Jesus), you have no future…” 

“No revival can come without repentance and conversion, and repentance and conversion must happen to become strong in God again…”²

When we become strong in God through revival, then we prevail, because we are on God’s side. During the American Civil War in the 1860’s, President Abraham Lincoln was asked whether he believed God was on the side of the Union. President Lincoln replied that his concern was not whether God was on the side of the Union, but whether the Union was on the side of God.* Revival can come through repentance and conversion as a Friend of Medjugorje stated above. We know God is powerful, we know that when we are with God we are powerful. Our Lady tells us this in Her messages. Our Lady also tells of a strategy of how we can be with God, and how this power can be brought about, which is part of the strategy of revival:

In the Field of Apparitions at Caritas, July 3, 2012

“Form and make prayer groups through which we will pray for your healing and the healing of this nation to draw closer to God and to Me.”

If we want to draw close to God and to Our Lady, close to where there is power, then prayer groups are the means to help bring that about. Prayer groups bring revival. The strategy of revival is the strategy of victory.

“We win. They lose. Nothing less.”³
