The Secrets I Began at Fatima

On Our Lady’s feast day today, Her words at Medjugorje give us an insight to Her words almost 97 years ago…

May 13, 2014 A.D.

Our Lady said in Medjugorje on August 25, 1991:

“…I invite you to renunciation for nine days so that with your help everything I wanted to realize through the secrets I began in Fatima may be fulfilled…”

There is a certain tie to Medjugorje and Fatima. A Friend of Medjugorje covers this topic clearly in the book Medjugorje, the Fulfillment of All Marian Apparitions, available below. But, there is an even greater connection to Our Lady’s apparitions from 97 years ago and Her apparitions today. In 20 Years of Apparitions, A Friend of Medjugorje writes:

“…on the anniversary of Fatima, May 13, 1982, which was also the first anniversary of the Holy Father [Pope John Paul II] being shot, Our Lady told the visionaries of Medjugorje, concerning the assassination attempt on the life of John Paul II:

“His enemies have wanted to kill him, but I protected him.”
 

Approximately two years later, Our Lady has Her 1000th apparition in Medjugorje. It is the Feast of the Annunciation, March 25, 1984. Our Lady announces a special message:

“Rejoice with me and with my angels because a part of my plan has already been realized.”
 

What was it that Our Lady in Medjugorje was revealing that “all of Heaven’s angels were rejoicing” with Her about?

It was certainly regarding the secret of Fatima and the Triumph of Her Immaculate Heart, but you will have to read 20 Years of Apparitions for the explanation, and more Triumphs of Our Lady, which up to that point had never before been exposed. 20 Years can be downloaded in its entirety below.

With Pope John Paul II’s canonization recently, with Our Lady’s feast day today, with so much happening in the world, it is easy to forget that there is an overall plan going on, pressing ahead behind the scenes, a Heavenly plan, orchestrated by God, with Our Lady in Medjugorje as the key person, the leader in this movement of God in the world today. Our Lady recently said on May 5, 2014, on Apparition Mountain during Ivan’s prayer group:

“…in a special way, I desire to call you, through this time, to pray for my intentions and my plans that I desire to realize with the world, with this parish, and with my Church…”
 

What will these upcoming days see? We do not know, but we will do as Our Lady asks and be in prayer through this time.
