The Promise…

The Promise…

December 20, 2017 A.D.

“Man waited… history divided… He lived His life quietly under the protection of His Mother and father. He was destined to be rise and fall of many. So sweet was the peace that was in His family, that He would long for its love, when later, He was immersed in the cup of hatred…”

  • A Friend of Medjugorje
  • Man Waited… 1995

The Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph, is our model today and every day. Are we creating peace in our homes, in which husbands, children long for its love? Our Lady is showing us how to achieve this peace. Our Lady of Medjugorje said on March 2, 2014:

“…Trust as I have trusted when it was said to me that I will bring the blessing of the promise…”

A promise that waited thousands of years, it was through Our Lady that man has had the blessing of the promised Savior, the King of Peace. It is the same today. In Medjugorje Our Lady is bringing us the blessing of the promise of God’s salvation. This Christmas, take more time to meditate on Our Lady, and in doing do, we will then be able to understand the Promise.

If you have not already begun, be sure to start today the Nine Days Before Christmas Novena. If you start late, continue after Christmas Day, the day which Christmas really begins. You can get the Novena prayers here.

  1. If, as you believe, Mary will be appearing for 40 years, then this Christmas will be the beginning of a time, two times and half a time left of these apparitions. I think we are going to be truly awed and humbled by what transpires. Thank you for your witness. Sue
