Our Lady of Medjugorje said on March 25, 2016:
The labor of love, that Our Lady has undertaken in carrying Her love to us, is not without a purpose, but, is to help convert the world through us, Her children, Her apostles. The Community of Caritas, in union with Christians across the world, celebrated the feast of Easter yesterday. It was a day of joy and peace. We share with you a little bit of the love that Our Lady has deposited here.
The weather forecast for Easter in Alabama called for rain – and rain it did, just as the Community knelt to begin our Rosary in the Field. Little Tony and Little John playing in the rain at our daily Rosary in the Field. They have played here since they were born, and will be playing/praying here for the rest of their lives, as the sweetness of the daily Rosary will remain in their hearts forever. The establishment of the daily Rosary in the life of the Community, was something that a Friend of Medjugorje understood very clearly, was essential at the beginning of Caritas. It coincides with the time our Lady visits the earth in Her apparitions to the Medjugorje visionaries in Medjugorje. It has become a part of our daily lives, no matter the occasion, and no matter rain or shine. It is part of our “normal” life, the absence of which would be, “abnormal.” Our Lady is creating a new culture, a new “normal” for the world, which in the future, many, having been exposed to Her love through Her apostles, will not know how to live without Her “new ways.” To live the messages in your daily life is to be living the future.
More is fun. In Community life, there is no “me, myself and I.” Rather, living in unity with others, brings a satisfaction and joy you cannot receive living only for yourself. To play by yourself, is not nearly as much fun as playing with others. Besides, the swing moves faster with more weight.
Below are poems that a few of our school age children wrote as part of their religion class. They are as touching as they are enlightening, the fruit of a life lived with Our Lady.
Martha, age 6:
I Love Easter
Anne, age 13 wrote:
Passion and Resurrection
Jesus was condemned to die.
When Pilot washed his hands and said,
“I am innocent of His blood, see to it yourselves.”
On a pillar He was tied,
They then brought Him to be crucified.
With a purple robe, they did adorn.
They mocked Him and spat at Him saying,
“Hail, King of the Jews.”
They crowned Him with a crown of thorns,
Our Holy Savior they did scorn.
Though the cross was heavy, the weight He bore.
Bleeding, beaten, exhausted He fell,
But got up again because,
This was to open Heaven’s door,
For all of us, this was for.
Slowly proceeding, they made their way,
Mary was always near Her Beloved Son.
She knew He had to bare this,
So She kept silent and did pray.
So many souls were saved that day!
Simon helped Jesus when He was weak
Veronica wiped his face.
Jesus stumbled and fell again.
Everything around Mary was so bleak.
She stood by so weary and meek.
The holy women He consoled,
“Daughters of Jerusalem do not weep for Me,
Weep for yourselves and your children.”
As the sorrowful passion did unfold,
He converted many hearts that had been cold.
Nails went through His hands and feet.
“Father forgive, they know not what they do.
Into Thy hands I commend My spirit.”
His merciful heart gave its last beat.
Our Lord’s mission was now complete.
His broken body in the tomb did lay,
The stone rolled and covered the entrance.
Then on the third day He rose.
All our sins were washed away.
HE CONQUERED DEATH ON THAT VERY FIRST
Victoria, age 7 wrote:
Son of God
Angela, age 9 wrote:
If I was at my Savior’s death
I would have stayed until His last breath.
I would have walked beside His Mother,
And would’ve mourned for our Brother.
I would have sat beside His grave,
Without Him, I could not be brave.
When He rose I would have sang,
And in my heart, bells would have rang.
After going through the darkest night,
All the earth was full of light.
Jesus entered into each heart
To give the world a fresh new start.
With our own crosses we can cope,
Because the Resurrection brought joy and hope.
Thank you Jesus for this grace,
All your words we will embrace.
He Has Risen!
Mary, age 11 wrote:
Jesus dies and darkness fell,
Upon the earth did sorrow dwell.
Jesus rose and light shone again,
To save the world from sorrow and sin.
We sing alleluia with one voice,
On Easter morning we rejoice.
Easter is a time of fun,
As we watch the children run.
They look like little buzzing bees,
Looking for eggs in the trees.
For all these things we thank the Lord,
As we bow our heads in one accord.
Faith, age 9 wrote:
In the spring the flowers bloom,
This is a sign that Easter is soon.
Jesus died upon the cross,
For the disciples it seem such a loss.
Then He rose from the grave,
For all the sinners He came to save.
Easter beings new life and a fresh start,
We are grateful for Christ with all our hearts.
On Easter Day, we have a big feast,
We break our fast from not eating sweets.
As we all walk down to the Field,
Our moms prepare our Easter meal.
After Rosary the kids get in a line,
Papa lets them all go, one at a time.
We race to find eggs at the top of the hill,
While the men gather around the fire and grill.
Alleluia! Christ has risen from the grave,
That’s why Easter is always a beautiful day.
It is never too late for your life to change. Our Lady has come to Medjugorje for this purpose. It begins in prayer and then manifests physically. Do not miss the chance to receive a part of the grace of this way of life, of the “new normal” for yourself and your family. This Jubilee Year of Mercy, the Bedroom of Apparitions, sacred apparition site at Caritas, in the founder and his wife’s home will be open to pilgrims once a month. The Bedroom of Apparitions will be open this Friday, April 1, 2016 from 12 noon until 6 PM. For many, it is not too far to jump in a car and have the opportunity to bring your family to the Holy site, that your life can begin to change the “new normal” of Our Lady. Visit here for more information or call in the U.S. 205-672-2000.
