The New Addition Connects to the Original Building for Greater Capability to Spread Our Lady’s Medjugorje Messages

The entire Caritas community is active in the work to ready the Tabernacle of Our Lady’s Messages for Our Lady of Medjugorje’s apparitions in March. It is truly exhausting, yet exhausting work directly for a visit of a Queen, “The Queen,” becomes a gift to help Her bring conversion to those who will come. Here, a crew made up of community youth tackle the job of removing the debris from tearing down a wall between the addition and the original building. With one adult to supervise, the youth work in earnest, as they have been trained to do since they were very young, and tackle what many would consider a difficult job. Caritas youth are trained to have a strong work ethic. With this influence, they grow to be confident, strong, willing to try difficult tasks, and love and appreciate work. In Medjugorje, Our Lady formed Her visionaries and the youth of the village of Medjugorje in this same way. Our teacher, work, is holy.

When the walls came down between the old and the new sections of the Tabernacle of Our Lady’s Messages, we finally had a visual of how big the space was that was being created on each floor. This is the print shop on the first floor which needed to be enlarged to fit the new book-binding machine and other retooling equipment that would be coming in soon. More space translates into more equipment which “literally” translates into the spreading of more of Our Lady of Medjugorje’s messages to the furthest ends if the earth. But it takes more than knowing construction to bring finesse and grace to a building, especially to a building dedicated to the Fairest of all Flowers, the Virgin Mary, a building whose life comes from the actual breath of Our Lady.

First, it takes prayer from which the inspiration comes. Splicing the two sections together to make them look as if they were originally built as one, takes a lot of attention to detail. Though the Tabernacle of Our Lady’s Messages is only 16 years old, we have outgrown its 35,000 square foot capacity. Above is the point of contact of which only this sheet of plastic separates the existing print shop and the new addition. After the cleanup of the debris from tearing down the walls, we all felt joy as the plastic was removed. Seeing the rooms together for the first time we received a fuller realization of the potential to spread Our Lady’s messages of Medjugorje.
