“Dear children, if you live the messages, you are living the seed of holiness…”
The messages are at the forefront of the change of the world. No one should underestimate the power of the message.
(Medjugorje photo taken July 28, 2010) – Olives begin the process of ripening on the tree in Medjugorje. Once ripe, these olives will be picked and pressed for oil. Our Lady is preparing hearts through Her messages to be used by Her when the time is ripe.
Our Lady has come to Medjugorje, not only with Her presence, but also Her words. Her words, Her messages are forming Her apostles, whom She calls, “little children.” Only those with the heart of a child can understand the profoundness of Her words. A Friend of Medjugorje shares more:
Our Lady said January 2, 2015, “You do not need to examine it much.” The Church has a problem with theologians examining the Gospel too much. Just believe what you read. Put it into practice. Make Our Lady’s messages your life and you will make the Bible your life. You do not have to take a theology course which often indoctrinates, giving fixed ideas and complicated thinking instead of the simplicity of being little children who understand the Gospel far greater than the theologians. It is difficult for Our Lady to instill Her messages into those who are indoctrinated by universities and intellectualism; a disease the Church suffers from today.

When we make the messages our life, the Bible becomes our life. When the Bible becomes our life, we live out the seeds of holiness which are ripening for the world. Dear Friend of Medjugorje: Jesus made it very plain, that He agrees with you on what is the most important within the Gospel in His response to the question about which is the “Greatest Commandment”. Jesus told the Lawyer: “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. Jesus could have put these in any order, however, the most important part of the “Great Commandment”, is to Love God with all our hearts, not our minds. While it’s important for us to recognize and use scripture as a weapon against satan, Our Holy Mother reiterates the importance of doing this through Love, by using Her own words, to paraphrase the Gospel, rather than simply quoting word for word from the bible, which can become rote behavior. This is especially important in our day, when you consider, there are so many versions of the Bible being used. Our Lady teaches us to raise our open hearts to God, allowing our minds to be receptive in order to receive Him.
