Our Lady said concerning conversion:
July 17, 1989
“…Conversion is a process which goes on through your entire life.”
This idea of “conversion” is at the heart of Our Lady’s messages. In fact, Our Lady states on February 25, 1996:
“…Today I invite you to conversion. This is the most important message that I have given you here…”
What is conversion and what have we learned from Our Lady these past 32 years?
Vicka:
“Conversion is awareness that we live before the face of God day and night and we are accountable for everything we are and have.”
]
Jakov:
“All people on earth who hear the Blessed Mother’s messages and respond to them with a generous heart filled with love will experience conversion.”
Ivan:
“Conversion means to change. Our Lady never said that a religion is more important than another. Conversion means a change for us of everything in our lives that is a little distorted, a little wrong – we have to get rid of all negative things, take them away. This means to follow a path, a better path where we meet with God. His presence then is just next to us.”
A Friend of Medjugorje
“Our Lady’s plans call for our individual conversion first. Only by living the messages and changing our lives are we able to then convert our families. Once families are converted, then and only then, can nations be healed. If nations are healed throughout the world, love will reign. Our own conversion is the basis for all Our Lady’s plans to be accomplished.”
“Our Lady’s messages have taught us many things. If lived, they will distinguish us as wheat – if rejected, as weeds. We are in a period of time of the harvesting of souls.”
Proverbs 22:6 says that if you train up a child in the way he should go, when he is old he will not depart from it. Little Lucy and Annaleah, two of the Caritas Community children, are “playing” Rosary time. Seeing what the adults in their lives do every day, it is just part of life to go on your knees with Rosary in hand. Seeing every day everyone in the community drop whatever they are doing when the bells begin to ring for Rosary is the first step to teaching them that God is first in our lives. Seeing the community every day open up the Bible and Words from Heaven to listen to words from Scripture and from Our Lady, teaches them that it is important to be listening and to follow these words from Heaven. Already they are on the path to conversion—a process that will go on their entire lives.
