Our Lady desires to speak to us and teach us. It is satan who wishes to stop Her words.
Pilgrims stream down from Apparition Mountain, September 2, 2015, after their encounter with the Mother of Jesus; an encounter with Love, Truth and Peace that has nourished their soul. These pilgrims are first-hand witnesses and carriers of Truth of what is happening in Medjugorje and Who it is that calls upon them to help Her transmit love and Truth “to others in the right way.” What is this way? She is transmitting love and Truth through Her messages.
How will Our Lady continue to nurture these souls once they leave Apparition Mountain? Once they leave Medjugorje? How will She continue to teach them? Who will give them Her words, which have satisfied what they thirsted for and be the means to satisfy others?
Written in 1991 (24 years ago), just one year after Mirjana began seeing Our Lady on the second of each month, A Friend of Medjugorje wrote that one of the plans of satan against Medjugorje, was to be “the silencing of the messages.”
“…The visionaries distribute God’s words, conveyed through Our Lady, and what and who the visionaries are is very important. To silence them is the goal of satan…if they [the visionaries] are silenced, Our Lady is silenced. Our Lady Herself said She wants to give more messages…” 1
The messages, given “12 times a year,” are to be lived and spread. This is why God has sent Our Lady of Medjugorje – to nurture the world back to health through the “medicine” of the messages which are to be “planted” in every life. We encourage you to visit Medjugorje, go on pilgrimage, be filled with Her words, and take them home with you.
