The First Call

As our life in community is missionaries for Our Lady, we do not own ourselves, but we live for others and their conversion, as Our Lady of Medjugorje said on December 25, 1992:

“…do not forget that your life does not belong to you, but is a gift with which you must bring joy to others and lead them to Eternal Life…”

Answering phones at 5 AM, is a very small offering to Our Lady that you cannot normally pass off to a paid employee to do for you, but has to come from a heart dedicated to the conversion of others. This is precisely the kind of heart you want to bring you to Medjugorje.

Since a Friend of Medjugorje began BVM Caritas Medjugorje Pilgrimages, 30 years ago, it is a gift that we continually share, rising early to help those in need, answering their questions, calming their apprehensions about traveling so many miles from home, and most of all, praying and sacrificing for them.
