In continuing to look at Our Lady’s message through Ivan on May 4, 2020:
“I am asking of you to love — to spread the truth; because truth is eternal, unchanging and always current…”
“Love” is being displayed by spreading the eternal, unchanging and current truth.
When we look at China, Indonesia, Syria, or other countries where Christians are persecuted, we often think it cannot happen in our “civilized” nations. Yet, anything is possible, depending on how we behave as Christians. A Friend of Medjugorje tells more:
What if we do not change? What if we Christians do not stop divorces amongst ourselves and denounce this scourge of marriage? What if we continue to accept or at least tolerate abominable, sinful lifestyles? Then beware, O Christian! You shall be put to the test!
If we do not want to be “put to the test,” then we must make a stand for God at every opportunity, even if the circumstances of persecution seem remote. A Friend of Medjugorje is teaching us that if we wish to keep those circumstances of persecution remote, then we need to make a bold stand, telling the truth even at the cost of being considered intolerant. When we do that, the messages show that Our Lady does not see intolerance, She sees love.

Our own Bishops are persecuting us by taking the Mass away from us. The Church is going to get a lot smaller. Shame on the shepherds who lead the little ones astray.
Persecution is not just in other countries, but right here in the US-it doesn’t have to be religious or political, but also verbal and mental. The only way to confront this evil is by love, prayer and forgiveness. Love and forgiveness/forgiveness and love. Jesus loved and forgave us by his death on the cross. Then why can’t we love and forgive others who persecute us. We must love, forgive and deeply pray for those that persecute us. God sees and hears everything.
