The Blessing of Peace

The Blessing of Peace

June 28, 2016 A.D.

Our Lady said on June 25, 2016 through Marija:

“…Today, on this day of grace, I desire to give you my motherly blessing of peace and of my love…”

What is a blessing of peace and why does Our Lady give it?

Young girl praying at the Blue Cross in Medjugorje

A young girl pilgrim at the Blue Cross in Medjugorje. Medjugorje is a place for all ages. Our Lady calls us Her, “dear children,” – no matter the age we are Her children and She has the same desire for those young and old alike.

It is the desire of Our Lady to give us peace. Medjugorje visionary Ivan tells us:

…we can see what the greatest desire of Our Lady is – and that is peace. Who could know better than the Mother how much this peace is needed in this spiritually starved world, in our tired families, in our tired young people, in our tired Church. But Mother is coming to us, and She wants to help us. She wants to encourage us. She wants to console us. She wants to give us, extend to us Her hand of hope. She wants to point out to us what is not good. She wants to guide us to good and to peace and to Her Son…”1

Many in the world do not have peace, including many Christians, including many who have even gone to Medjugorje. The blessing of peace that we receive in prayer overcomes all tiredness of life, that when one finds no purpose to life, and we pray, we find peace and purpose. Our Lady tells us on April 25, 2001:

“…When you are tired and sick and you do not know the meaning of your life, take the Rosary and pray; pray until prayer becomes for you a joyful meeting with your Savior…”

Joyfully meet your Savior in prayer, find the blessing of peace for your life, the blessing of your purpose in life. It is the desire of the Mother, in Her Motherly Blessing of Peace that we turn to God and find the meaning of our life.
