On Saturday, April 17, 2021, the founder of Caritas of Birmingham and the Community of Caritas, known as a Friend of Medjugorje, suffered a heart attack. He underwent open heart surgery on Tuesday, April 20. The story of how Our Lady helped him, his family and our community through those days of uncertainty was published where you can read it here. Our founder is in the process of recovering from the surgery and is still in need of your prayers. He is, however, back at work, though not in full capacity mode as yet. On Thursday, May 7, 2021, he called the community together for a mini retreat to share with us what he had been seeing in Our Lady’s messages for the past several months. The insights were so powerful that his talk was immediately transcribed. A Friend of Medjugorje tells us 3 things to prepare for the 40th anniversary. The 40th Anniversary of Our Lady’s Apparitions in Medjugorje, Where Are We Headed?

I’ve been watching Our Lady’s messages for the last six months and I want to go back these six months and read some things to you of what Our Lady has said. She has been ramping up the tone and seriousness of Her messages. Our Lady does not reveal things, nor does God reveal things, except through those who are really seeking, fasting, praying and who are really watching. Our Lady told us to listen to Her. Yet, we still have the major body of Medjugorje followers only interested in reading Her messages, but not changing their lives. But as we advance towards June 24 and 25, 2021, to celebrate Our Lady’s 40th Anniversary of Her apparitions in Medjugorje, Our Lady has been saying something important to us. If we start back last year, six months ago, it would bring us to December 2020. Our Lady said on December 25, 2020:
“…do not permit for your faith and hope in a better future to be extinguished…”
People normally just gloss over these words. They hear Our Lady say, “We are going to have a future. It is not going to be extinguished.” No. That is not what She is saying. What She is saying is that we are all going to be tested. We are coming into a period of serious testing.
“…do not permit for your faith and hope in a better future to be extinguished…”
Why is She saying this? Because there are things that are going to come, things that we are going to be faced with that will challenge our faith and hope. Whatever we are going to experience, whatever the world is going to experience, there will be billions who will lose their faith and their hope. In what? In a better future.
To me, what Our Lady is saying is that there is something that is going to be so bad, so dark, so depressing, that people will lose their faith, they will lose their hope that things are going to change. And whatever it is, we are headed to it right now because Our Lady has not missed one single month, in the last six months, in warning us that something is coming. Her warnings are, as I said, ramping up for where we are headed. Again, read Her words of December 25, 2020:
“…do not permit for your faith and hope in a better future to be extinguished…”
Why? Because:
“…you are chosen to be witnesses of hope in every situation…”
What is She talking about? What situations? She said it will look like hope for a better future, our future, is going to be extinguished. And just at that point you, we, will have to be the witnesses of hope in these devastating situations. You, we, will have to be the ones to deliver hope through your, our, witness. Then She says this:
“…that is why I am here…”
The next month, which is the first month of the New Year, on January 25, 2021, knowing that this month begins the trail that will lead to the 40th anniversary of Her apparitions, Our Lady says:
“…This is a time of awakening and giving birth…Be joyful bearers of peace and love that it may be good for you on earth…”
Is that a warning? Is She giving a hint of something that She can’t fully tell us, but is enough for those who are attuned to Her messages? I’m telling you—get ready, be ready, because its coming. It’s not going to be easy.
“…Be joyful bearers of peace and love that it may be good for you on earth…”
Meaning, it’s not going to be good for a lot of people, even for those who are following Our Lady, if they haven’t been serious, if they haven’t been seeking, haven’t been thinking, praying, and fasting. From December 2020, to January 2021, we go to the next month, February 2021. We won’t skip any months, all the way up to our current time. Our Lady said this in February:
February 25, 2021
“…be witnesses of hope…I repeat to you, little children, that with prayer and fasting also wars can be suppressed…”
You don’t need to suppress a war if there is no war. This is not a 15-year-old message. This is a message She gave only five months ago. She is telling us through fasting and praying, wars can be suppressed. Some may suggest She is just repeating what She said many years ago. But as the message continues, we see She is addressing this time specifically:
“…live this time of grace in faith…”
Faith is the key, the key, to survive and live through whatever Our Lady is warning us about.
“…live this time of grace in faith and with faith; and my Immaculate Heart does not leave any of you in peacelessness if you have recourse to me…”
What are the Protestants going to do and those of other faiths? What are the people who know Our Lady, but who have rejected Her going to do? What of those people who have gone away from Her messages because it was just another fad for them and they went on to something else?
“…my Immaculate Heart does not leave any of you in peacelessness if you have recourse to me. I intercede for you before the Most High, and I pray for peace…”
And here it is again…
“…and for hope for the future…”
If the events She is speaking of are not going to be difficult and challenging to course through, She wouldn’t be praying for hope for the future. The next month we go into is March. Our Lady says:
March 25, 2021
“…today, I am with you to tell you: Little children, who prays does not fear the future and does not lose hope…”
I have said this hundreds of times over the years that if Our Lady is talking of the future and saying not to lose hope, it means that there is going to be a lot of lack of hope in the hearts of people. And then She adds to this:
“…the devil wants peacelessness and war, he wants to fill your heart with fear of the future—but the future is God’s…”
You can see now this pattern. Our Lady is very serious. She is moving month by month by month to the eve of Her 40th Anniversary, June 24th. April follows March. Our Lady says in a message given through Medjugorje visionary, Ivan:
April 16, 2021
“…this is the time of responsibility, accept and live my messages responsibly…allow God to speak to your heart…”
She is saying it depends on you whether you will allow God to speak to your heart so that He will be able to show you, teach you, lead you and be able to use you.
“…allow God to speak to your heart. satan wants to reign and destroy your life…be persevering, courageous, patient and strong…”
Moving on to Our Lady’s April 25, 2021, She says:
“…Today, I am calling you to witness your faith in the colors of spring…”
This is a puzzle. What does that mean? It has to do with something of the agrarian life, of what we are supposed to be doing in this time, our preparations.
“…May this be a faith of hope and courage. May your faith, little children, not waiver in any situation…”
There’s the negative part, “do not waiver in any situation.” Why does She say this again? Because there are situations coming down the road to us that none of us are going to be happy with. She is warning us, through Her messages, that whatever the situations are, they are going to be a reality.
“…May your faith, little children, not waiver in any situation, not even in this time of trial…”
There are going to be trials.
We have had trials for 40 years ourselves, with all the things we have gone through. We are in a trial now. How does Our Lady want us to proceed through this time of trials? She says:
“…Go courageously…”
We are headed to something that is going to require courage. On May 6, 2021, Ivan gave a testimony before his apparition in which he spoke of the time we are living in. He said:
“Do not forget that you are living in a time of grace. Do not close yourselves. Use this time to seek the gift of peace in your lives…”
People are not doing this. They have a false sense of security, thinking everything is going to just continue like it is. Everything is going to be okay. But Ivan is saying, of what he knows through Our Lady and he knows a lot of details, that it is in this time we are supposed to be working and preparing ourselves. This is what will bring peace. Do this now, as Ivan says:
“…so that you [will] become witnesses for others.”
Why? Because people are going to be desperate. We must always have our act together [speaking first to the Caritas Community], otherwise how can we witness to others? We are the most prepared group of people, as a body, in regard to the alignment of the messages in putting ourselves in a position to be the witnesses of the whole world. But even we are not ready.
“…Use this time to seek the gift of peace in your lives so that you become witnesses for others. Our Lady calls us so that our lives become a decision for peace.”
The decision is for peace. How do you have peace? You have peace if you are living according to what God has shown you to live. We know it is the Corona Vision, it’s a way of life in living Our Lady’s messages. Ivan goes on to say, on May 6, 2021:
“We live in a time of grace in which God is giving us great graces. Our Lady calls us to witness, each of us become a witness. This peace will give the strength to bear witness to the whole world through our martyrs.”
What does that mean? Why does he speak of martyrs? He’s not talking about 2,000 years ago. He offers no explanation. He ends his testimony saying what Our Lady did in his apparition of May 4, 2021:
“For a long time, Our Lady prayed for peace in the world and for families.”
Ivan said, “Don’t close yourselves.” Take time in prayer and really enter into these messages of Our Lady and seek from God what actions to take in this time—both spiritually and physically. Do not become paralyzed with fear. Christian writer, C.S. Lewis, lived in England during World War II, and faced with his countrymen the possibility of complete annihilation of everything held dear due to the aggressiveness of Nazi Germany to conquer and destroy their nation. Yet, he refused to succumb to defeat, hopelessness, fear or despair. We, who have lived with the knowledge of the atomic bomb and the devastation it can cause for the past 76 years, forget the horror of reading of it for the first time in newspaper headlines and radio broadcasts when Hiroshima and Nagasaki were torn to shreds by the bomb. The threats waging against the entire world today, far surpass the devastation of atomic bombs, but listen to the good advice C.S. Lewis spoke to his own people consumed with fear of impending doom.
“In one way we think a great deal too much of the atomic bomb. ‘How are we to live in an atomic age?’ I am tempted to reply: Why, as you would have lived in the sixteenth century when the plague visited London almost every year, or as you would have lived in a Viking age when raiders from Scandinavia might land and cut your throat any night; or indeed, as you are already living in an age of cancer; an age of syphilis, an age of paralysis; an age of air raids, an age of railway accidents, an age of motor accidents.
“In other words, do not let us begin by exaggerating the novelty of our situation. Believe me, dear sir or madam, you and all whom you love were already sentenced to death before the atomic bomb was invented: and quite a high percentage of us were going to die in unpleasant ways. We had, indeed, one very great advantage over our ancestors—anesthetics; but we have that still. It is perfectly ridiculous to go about whimpering and drawing long faces because the scientists have added one more chance of painful and premature death to a world which already bristled with such chances and in which death itself was not a chance at all, but a certainty.
“This is the first point to be made: and the first action to be taken is to pull ourselves together. If we are all going to be destroyed by an atomic bomb, let that bomb when it comes find us doing sensible and human things—praying, working, teaching, reading, listening to music, bathing the children…—not huddled together like frightened sheep and thinking about bombs. They may break our bodies (a microbe can do that) but they need not dominate our minds.”

Our Lady very clearly says that She wants to use each and every one of us to bring hope and faith to people in the very time when things fall apart. “…Go courageously…,” She says.
Therefore, number one, do everything you can to be ready for whatever the future may hold.
Number two, place everything else in the hands of God and Our Lady.
And number three, continue to live your life with the confidence that you are a child of Our Lady.
Live in peace, in joy, in faith, in repentance and forgiveness and bring the “Light” of Our Lady’s love to everyone you meet and to every place you are sent. Our Lady said, “…my Immaculate Heart does not leave any of you in peacelessness if you have recourse to me…”

Glenn, here at Caritas, Medjugorje visionary Marija and a Friend of Medjugorje were speaking to a crowd of about 5,000 people in front of the Tabernacle of Our Lady’s Messages. Someone asked about the 3 days of darkness. Marija said that Our Lady has never spoken about the 3 days of darkness. Marija said Our Lady only speaks of light.
Is this the 3 days of darkness? if so, we need to prepare and fast….
Yup, what is coming is gonna be what is said, the great storm, a furry of events that haven’t been seen in a long time. War and roits are just part of it all. More plagues always come about during this geo active time and oh the major geo disasters incoming. My fam always first thought nukes were the cause of many proohecies, but more and more you research them, and then notice what’s been going on geo wise and look up historical geo disasters, ya can see what is coming and in store easly. But don’t fear the geo, that’s creation and God’s response to the evil elites doing their world coup and is the signal end of the 100 years of satan just like medjugorje secret no 1 is but is probably more connected with 2 and 4? Many man will despair when everything occurs incuding especially after super volcano eruption (luz de Maria de bonillia) and many geo structures major pop offs which their either long overdue or just becoming due for. Can see why being witness and/or mayters, being clear as day, with thr way people are acting with the vaccines and those who are not and with other things as well. “Witness your faith in the colors of spring”……..that struck me immediately because when spring arrives, I have always marveled about the countless colors and shades of green…….you literally cannot count them as each shade of green is nuanced and so very different. So to me, this means that we must witness our faith in countless different ways, in each and every circumstance we find ourselves in! Thank you, FOM, and may your healing continue. Dear AFOM and friends at Caritas, Thank you for your discerning insights. You confirm what my husband, Matthew, and I have been seeing for some time in Our Lady’s messages: that she is preparing us for great events in the near future, and that we are to stay under Her mantle, and consecrated to Her Immaculate Heart. She will be the light within in us in the times of great darkness that is descending upon the earth like a hurricane. What we must be remember is that She informed us that She is in the wind…She has come to stir up the world, to purify us, to prepare and lead us into the Gift of Living in the Divine Will in the Era of Peace, but there is much to suffer prior to that Appointed time. But we must remember, we do not suffer for the sake of suffering. We suffer to resemble Jesus, to offer Him our suffering to save souls, and to purify our hearts, to undergo the test, so that we may be refined as pure gold. We have been chosen to live in this Appointed time, Her time, and we must pray, fast, offer sacrifices and penances so that Her plan may come to fruition. As She shared with us on several occasions, we cannot comprehend how important we are in this plan to save humanity. Let us pray that we may be fortified, that we do not disappoint Our Lady, that we diligently march forward, as Her warriors, Her apostles of true faith, a faith tested, a remnant faith. We continue to pray for AFOM and the entire Caritas community. I am always so fearful of saying I’m a child of our Lady ..I am a child of God the father, the son and the Holy Spirit. I love our lady and as my mother prays for me and intercedes for me and cares about me and loves me. I was baptized a Methodist than a Lutheran then I became Catholic 50 years ago. We definitely have to keep a perspective about our lady. People think we worship her and I told them no we pray for her to pray for us.

Very interesting writing. As we approach the the 40th anniversary I find myself wondering will June 25th be Our Lady’s final apparition. On May 29 I had a similar impulse to go back and read the monthly messages from this year as I recalled them having a very different tone to them. As I journaled the parts of each message (from Jan-May 2021) that struck a chord in me in a different way each month, I could “see” clearly a different and almost [i]immediate [/i]warning of upcoming events. From my notes: Jan 2021: …this is a time of awakening…[b][u]yearn for Heaven[/u][/b] Feb 2021: my Immaculate Heart does not leave any of you in peacelessness [b][u]IF you have recourse to me.[/u][/b] Mar 2021: …who prays does not FEAR THE FUTURE….[b][u]surrender everything into the hands of the Most High Who created you![/u][/b] Apr 2021: May you your faith not waver [i][u][b]in this time of trial[/b].[/u][/i] May 2021: …you will be my extended hands [b][u]in this lost world.[/u][/b] May we all be encouraged by Our Lady’s battle call to us to remain hopeful, courageous, loving and joyful IN SPITE OF the apparent mess in our world!! Wow, thank you…a great writing and summation of what Our Lady is calling us to do…to live and honor Christ and all He stands for.
Most days I am deeply aware of this time of grace as I plan and work in my garden. I am planning a blueberry retreat on the farm to help others get a garden ready and connect with locals. Our Lady said, change the direction of your life and I have worked on this intentionally, constantly meeting new people, constantly sharing our Lady’s Special Blessing knowing the graces it brings. My husband and I began stopping everything to pray the rosary just before apparition time and were disappointed today that we did not hear the bells. Please consider putting the rosary on Mejanomics just before apparition time to better unite us worldwide as our dear Mother’s children, a spiritual family reunion if you will. Thanks for all you do for the wold really.

Your writings indeed are filled with the graces of Our Lady! It is so true, many read these writing and are touch by every word, but fear sets in and it detains us from putting our complete faith into the message. Our loving Heavenly Mother has been pleading with us for so many years and have we paid attention, tried to do what she has been asking of us or do we give up to soon? Excuses are easy to find. Wow! So much to absorb reading from month to month. But when you put them all together like that it is almost overwhelming to read, but so important as always that we have trust in our Lady and in God and They will take care of us if we stay the coarse. Be Not Afraid . Thank you dear Friend, and prayers for continued healing.
Our Lady tells us, for many, we won’t feel the passage from this life to the next, for others, this wasn’t and won’t be so. Remember how it felt, the last time you hurt really bad. No matter how hard you try, there’s no way for your mind to duplicate that pain, unless the reason you suffered, returns as well. Even the worst pain, once it’s gone, becomes a distant memory, we can’t remember. Think of the Span of our Lifetime, against the promise of Eternity, our lives become just a Blip, when viewed in the Truth of the Promise we receive. For those who suffer continual pain now, there are moments, when the pain seems less painful than usual, other times it’s worse? Even so, through the suffering, they find the strength, for another day. For those, who offer their suffering up to God, they strike, Blow after Blow against our enemy, as True Heroes, for our cause. We must lose all thoughts of any disbelief, as this will become ever easier as we continue to see the Truth of the Bible, appear before our eyes, with certainty. The Seed of Faith, Planted Long Ago, Within Us, Has Been Well Watered, Is In Good Soil, And Has Received The “Son” It Needs, We Are All The Mosaic of Colors, Each In Place Where We Are Needed To Blossom, As An Original, As Flowers, Laid Before Our Lady, But When Seen From A Distance, The Whole Plan Comes Into View. It is a Picture of Love, Faith, Hope and Charity. We Draw Our Strength from Our Savior, who Loves Us, and Gave Himself for Us. We must Follow where He leads us, to help those Who Haven’t Come to Know The Great Love of Our Father. HOPE RUNS ETERNAL, FAITH GROWS AND OUR LOVE ABOUNDS…..With Our God With Us, who can be against us…..Even in Dying, we win Eternity……we cast off this old skin, for a Glorified One !! Everyone Dies, but not everyone, Gets to Live for Our Lady !! Amen… Friend of Medjugorje has spoken many times about how God has been, shoring up our current situation and has even tied this to Our Lady saying, if She had not come, the world would have torn itself apart already. Everything Happens in God’s Timing…..When the Time Arrives, it Will be Our Time, in God’s Plan, through Our Lady, for the Salvation of the World……WoW….how Amazing is that? God and Our Lady, have always been there, bringing Grace, here or there, where and when, it has been needed or prayed for most, and in these times, with Her here, we can expect, the Most from God, to bring others to Conversion. These Forty Years, have been to Prepare US for the World…..We must tell Our Lady, in Faith, that we are Prepared, and Thank God, for making it so…..”WE CAN DO ALL THINGS, THROUGH HIM, WHO GIVES US STRENGTH.” We mustn’t forget though, even Jesus had trouble performing miracles, in some of those ancient cities, because of their Lack of Faith. We mustn’t lose our Faith, for it is the Cornerstone of all that will come from God in these Days. A Great Deception is Coming, which will shake some from their faith, but don’t forget…..IT’S ALWAYS DARKEST….BEFORE THE DAWN….The Dawn is soon to come, so have Faith and be ready for the final darkness ! Instead, we must think and be like our Heroes, in the Bible. We need to emulate; Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, happy either to die or live, at the discretion of God, as they were put into the fiery furnace. We must become one with Daniel, praying amongst the Lions, with the same courage. We must remember all that we’ve learned from the Gospel, and Live the Word, in Action and in Truth. What we must never do though, is forget that we’ve all received a wonderful gift, with this Life, but that it is God’s and Our Lady’s life now, Consecrated for the benefit of others, in their need, to ensure they as well, make it to Heaven. Think of that day in Heaven, when the Multitude is there, with Faces Beaming, Smiles from Cheek to Cheek, in Realization, We’re All In Heaven…..What a Wonderful Moment. Just Imagine then, seeing this Enemy or that Enemy, who you continually prayed for, offering True Foregiveness, looking at you with eyes aglow, and a tear of joy, flowing from their eyes, giving you a nod, of thanks and recognition, having their hearts tell them, what you’ve been doing for them, all these years. THESE ARE THE THINGS OF HEAVEN – YOUR MOTHER WANTS YOU TO REMEMBER NOW ! Think of your Heart Leaping With Joy, Knowing You Have A Part In Their Salvation. Each of us, will all have our own amazing moments, to talk about in Heaven. Won’t that be Wonderful? We live in a Time of Miracles, many of us Witness this, in the Abundant Graces, we continually receive, each and every day. Don’t Forget…..Those whom are given much, will also be Responsible, for what they Receive. It’s a Gift which must be Shared, through Our Witness. Those who follow Our Lady, are truly those, with a special understanding of what each event, in Part, or in Whole, means for God’s plan and Our Lady’s, at this time. When we receive Grace now, it builds up not only our faith, but is meant to build up the Universal Church and to see with Our Lady’s eyes, not as the world sees everything, but instead just the same as Stephen did……even as they hurled rocks at him, his attention was always to things of Heaven, so much so, God gave him a final Grace, of seeing Jesus at His Right Hand, before he became the 1st Christian Martyr. Stephen was too busy, with the things of Heaven, to even feel a single blow. His Faith, brought him to this, through Our Lord’s Great Love. Our Lady tells us, even in what others would call the Darkest Valley, we must have courage, knowing the promise, beyond the curtain of this life to that which we all Truly Desire….not this Shade, but True Life, where Our God, Walks Among Us. This is the Faith we have. This is the Faith we must have. The Bible tells us, Our Witness becomes more important than life itself, as we witness the Truth to Others, not fearing the loss of our lives by doing so. In Truth, it is Written and we can read it there, in the Bible. We believe what is written there, and it will become our truth, because we are those Witnesses. We are coming out of the desert, in sight of the Promised Land. Our Mother tells us to keep our thoughts on the things of Heaven, for this very purpose. We have Our Lord on our Left, and Our Lady on our Right Side…..We were born for this and they hold up each of our arms, just as the Jews did, for Moses, securing Our Victory. This is our calling !
