Our Lady of Medjugorje’s call to all Her children: “…Spread my messages in the entire world.”
Last year, in the Caritas Mission House in Medjugorje, the Community of Caritas gave away $40,000 worth of Special keepsake postcards free, that were created and printed through the mission of Caritas of Birmingham. The postcards were made for the purpose of printing Our Lady’s monthly 25th message given to Marija and Mirjana’s 2nd of the month message upon and then given away free to every pilgrim who visits the Mission House from around the world. These beautiful gold embossed cards are on the level of the classiest Hallmark card. We go to that expense in order to make it such quality that it is just natural for people to want to have it as a keepsake with Our Lady’s message upon it. The messages are available in six to eight different languages. Pictured here is a group of Polish pilgrims who came into the Mission House to receive free copies of Our Lady’s March 25, 2010 Monthly Message on these beautiful message cards. These keepsake cards can be found in bibles, on home altars, and nightstands around the world. We were even told by a bishop that he has several on a table next to his bed. These cards are provided free through a small group of people who support the Caritas Mission House. Hundreds of thousands of these cards have been given out over the years to pilgrims around the world.
Our Lady calls us, in Her message yesterday, “to be strong in prayer and in the moments when trials attack you.” Jakov, one of the six Medjugorje visionaries, says that the Sacrament of Confession is necessary to be able to live Our Lady’s messages. When he speaks to pilgrims who come to Medjugorje, he tells them, “Purify your hearts because only with pure and clean hearts will we be able to accept and to live what Our Lady has been inviting us to here.” Accept the invitation of Our Lady to go to Confession during this Lenten season so with purified hearts, Our Lady will carry us before Jesus who will be our strength and support.
