June 13, 2026 A.D.

 

A Friend of Medjugorje is presently in Medjugorje to be with Our Lady for Her 45^th Anniversary of Her apparitions while also celebrating his first pilgrimage to Medjugorje 40 years ago. He had the grace to be present in Marija’s apparition tonight, June 13^th, on the Feast of the Immaculate Heart of Mary.  He brought to the apparition many petitions from friends of Caritas’ mission that he presented to Our Lady at the time She appeared.

 

When a Friend of Medjugorje visited Marija earlier in the day, he was surprised to see a beautiful new statue in the large room where the apparitions take place when large groups attend at Marija’s home. Marija told him that a priest friend of hers gave the statue to her as a gift and she had spent all day driving to pick up the statue and bring it back to Medjugorje in time for Our Lady’s feast day today.

 

The statue was in Croatia, and on the return to Medjugorje, Marija was stopped at the border.

 

It was in the middle of the night, and the border guards would not allow the statue into the country. Marija told the guards that it was a gift, not something she purchased.

 

The guards were unmoved.

 

Finally, Marija said to them that either the statue comes in with her, or she would leave it here at the border. They could decide.

 

In the end, they allowed Marija to take the statue and pass through the border, but she didn’t arrive home until 2:00 AM.

 

A Friend of Medjugorje said this new statue, arriving on the feast of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, is spiritual history being made in Medjugorje. The smaller statue that Marija knelt in front of to receive Our Lady in hundreds of apparitions is a holy relic of Marija’s apparitions and will always mark a segment of time within the apparitions for Marija.

 

And now, a new statue has taken its place, and it will also become a holy relic beginning tonight in the 45^th anniversary year of Our Lady’s apparitions in Medjugorje.

 

In the apparition tonight, Our Lady prayed in Her mother tongue for peace in our hearts, peace in our families and peace in our world.

They will be printed out each day in the Caritas Mission House in Medjugorje, and he will bring them to Our Lady’s apparitions throughout the days leading to Our Lady’s anniversary.
