Many times we have heard people relay to us that they find difficulties in prayer. They don’t pray because they get nothing out of it, they can’t seem to get started, prayer does not bring them joy or consolation, etc. Yet Our Lady’s solution is simple, “…pray until prayer becomes a joy for you.” You cannot get started? Then keep trying until you can start it. You get no joy in prayer? Then keep praying until you get joy. Is prayer difficult? Then keep on praying until it becomes easy.
There is the popular saying, “Fake it till you make it.” A Friend of Medjugorje says, “Faith it, till you make it.” Keep on going until it happens. Such simple solutions from Our Lady can only convince one that it is really Our Lady that is appearing in Medjugorje. And what a better place to start a new prayer life than in Medjugorje? A recent Caritas pilgrim wrote to us:
