December 10, 2017 A.D.
It was a cold climb to the Cross on Penitentiary Mountain at Caritas, this special place, where a Friend of Medjugorje wrote in the Foundation of this Cross, “for the soul of America.”1
Praying at this special place for the Soul of America, our thoughts were also turned to this special election coming up on December 12, in Alabama, a battle between light and dark, a pivotal point in history and in the plans of Our Lady. A Caritas Community member brought up a copy of Roy Moore’s book from a Friend of Medjugorje’s library and read a few notes and passages from the book. Then a Friend of Medjugorje gave a clearer understanding about Roy Moore, who is also a close friend, and why there is so much against him in this upcoming election:
“What you have to do to discern Judge Roy Moore, is to see who is against him. The very same people against him, are against you, and against me – they’re all in darkness… Roy Moore is a very dangerous individual, because he possesses the principles that he is willing to lose his position to stand up for what’s right… To identify who someone is, is to identify the resistance, and who is that resistance…”
Following this, special prayers were offered for our Nation from this Holy Site, remembering the upcoming election on December 12.
There are still three more days of the Five Days of Prayer, for the Reconciling of Ourselves, Our Familes and Nation Back to God. Already people are making a spontaneous decision to join us this weekend, here at Caritas for the Five Days of Prayer, the nation’s most well-known Medjugorje event of the year. Make a spur of the moment decision and join us this weekend for the Five Days of Prayer, now in its 25th year! Visit here for schedule, directions and hotel information.
