Today begins the special novena of nine weeks before the 2016 presidential election, as written about in, A Revolution for Her Son… We have a special announcement concerning this Revolution Action…
A Friend of Medjugorje has written and spoken many times that the solutions from God are simple, so simple that they evade the clever and learned. The recent initiative, A Revolution for Her Son, an initiative begun in They Fired the First Shot 2012, is a response to Our Lady’s call to form and make prayer groups, and is sweeping across the nation like a wave of grace. This is a call that is so simple, that its origins in God cannot be denied. Our Lady said on October 2, 2015:
We are continuing to put out the call of Our Lady to form and make prayer groups. Even if you do not have a prayer group started yet, begin a prayer group, even if you have to temporarily pray over the phone with someone you can connect with. To come together with others, even if we are far from each other, but, in thinking of Our Lady, She comes to us and hears our prayers.
In recent months, many, many people have been calling and writing Caritas asking A Friend of Medjugorje what can be done, as a body of believers, to unite our prayers and gather them together to present to Our Lady before the Presidential Election on November 8, 2016. A Revolution for Her Son, is the beginning step. The strategy is a strategy of revival.1 We have given a suggested prayer schedule as well to pray in union with others for our nation.2
For the past several years, A Friend of Medjugorje has often spoken of a burning desire of his –that now, at this time, is coming to reality.

The purpose of the gathering is for prayer and petition for our nation’s return to God and for Divine intervention in the upcoming Presidential Election.
This date of October 15, 2016 is providential in that it was only after the date was set that we realized Caritas’ 9-Day Bread and Water Fast for the Healing of our Nation, October 6-14, 2016—in which thousands will be participating, will end the day before the prayer gathering at Independence Hall.
Kneeling in front of Independence Hall is where A Friend of Medjugorje was inspired and created the Patriotic Rosary, 23 years ago, in 1993, and where it was first prayed with only a handful of people. Today there are hundreds of thousands of people who are praying the Patriotic Rosary throughout our country, and even around the world. Do not miss this opportunity to gather with A Friend of Medjugorje and the Community of Caritas to pray the Patriotic Rosary at the very place where our Founding Fathers penned their names to the Declaration of Independence, one nation under God, pledging their lives, their fortunes, and their sacred honor.

Is There a Cost?: There is no cost to the event.
What should I bring? You should bring a blanket to sit on, a sack lunch and drinks, and extra funds if you wish to visit the patriotic sites and museum. The Patriotic Rosary book, and other materials will be provided to you by the Community of Caritas.

We have a church prayer group that has been praying the Patriotic Rosary on Sat. mornings faithfully for years. I am so excited to be part of this public square rosary in Philadelphia. Having been to Medjugorje twice and Caritas once with your group, I highly recommend participation in this necessary endeavor! I am looking forward to joining members of your community again in Philadelphia and seeing some familiar faces!!
This is so exciting…that so many prayers are happening at the same time for our country…I am unable to travel but praying always at home..The Novena for our Nation..I also am involved in the Rosary Rallies in October..God Bless you and all the people, prayer groups..etc..may Our Lady present all our needs and petitions to her Divine Son.
Caritas this is wonderful! We will be at the culmination of the 54 day “Novena for Our Nation” in DC on 10/7 praying the rosary in front of the Capitol. We would like to come to the 10/15 event. Any logistics available re hotels you will be at or we should use? As always our love and prayers for you all and all you do.
God bless you for this prayerful endeavor for our country. I will be with you in spirit as I am leading one of the 15,000 Rosary Rallies that day, at noon, that will be happening that same day. This is led by America Needs Fatima and we do this every year. How unbelievable that you would choose the same day as the Rallies are being held. Only heaven and Our Lady can be at the helm of this taking place on the same day. Heaven will be deluged with prayer that day. That is so exciting, a real ray of hope in this sometime hopeless time.
