Despite threatening forecasts, local Iowans, along with out-of-staters, traveling from Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Illinois, braved the oncoming snowstorm to hear A Friend of Medjugorje share Our Lady’s Medjugorje messages. He spoke about their relevance to our time today saying:
“We are at a serious moment in history… Why is God sending Our Lady for 31 years?… It is Our Lady who says that you don’t have a future without Jesus,” and speaking in reference to the atheistic ideals prevalent in society he stated, “Our Lady is coming for everyone: non –believers, atheists, devil-worshipers, etc. She wants to reach everyone.”
Addressing Medjugorje followers, A Friend of Medjugorje said:
“We who are in this everyday, Our Lady says to us, that we need to renew ourselves. So, we have to sometimes pinch ourselves and say that there must be something more to this…”
Turning the tone of the talk towards the nation (USA) and the serious of the times in which we live, A Friend of Medjugorje said that:
“31 years of daily apparitions (in Medjugorje) is the thermometer of where we are… there are three things we need to consider: 1st, apparitions every single day for 31 years, 2nd, Our Lady said, ‘I will give messages like never before in the history of the world since its very beginning, and 3rd, these are the last apparitions on earth, Our Lady said.”
“Our Lady is not here for a party. She is here to tell us, ‘I am a Christian.’ She is the first Christian,” and quoting Our Lady’s words of November 25, 1997, “Holy martyrs died witnessing: I am a Christian and love God over everything,”
A Friend of Medjugorje was speaking in reference to the anti-Christian climate that has developed in the nation.
“Our Lady warns us on August 2, 2011, that ‘evil wants to begin to rule.’ Then on February 2, 2012 She says, ‘pride has come to rule.’ We’ve got to understand that there are people in this nation who hate Christians.”
A Friend of Medjugorje brought the Medjugorje messages back full circle to the nation and the world, and Our Lady’s call for everyone to change their life, because the times in which we live require it.
For many followers of Our Lady, what confronts one may seem insurmountable, and to think that Our Lady has chosen each one to be a sign of Her messages, can be a daunting task because each one knows their own unworthiness. A Friend of Medjugorje spoke about the visionaries and their call by Our Lady, which is extended to everyone to be Her apostles. He told everyone gathered:
“Our Lady did not pick you because you were holy, She picked you because She loves you.”
Let us heed the call of love from Our Lady to change our hearts, our families, and this nation.
Last night, the wind whips the snow outside the place where A Friend of Medjugorje spoke. The skies began over casted, and the snow moved in during the middle of the talk. While winds and snow lashed the cars outside the place where he spoke, A Friend of Medjugorje spoke about the storms gathering and beginning to lash around us in the nation and the world.
