Rosary Offered for Pope Francis, Our Lady Asks Prayers for the Church

It was beautiful being with Our Lady on the mountain again. After weeks of rainfall in Medjugorje, the sun finally began to shine yesterday and today and when night fell, as we prayed in anticipation of Our Lady’s apparition, it was wonderful to see a starry night and full moon. Though Ivan has been in Medjugorje for several weeks, his prayer group meetings have been private. It was a great delight to hear today that the apparition would be open. In the Caritas Mission House, we told everyone who came in. Many had not heard the news and wanted to leave quickly to inform others. Within hours, all roads and paths through the vineyards were filled with people walking towards Apparition Mountain and the Blue Cross. Before the Rosary, Ivan stated that the Rosary tonight would be offered for Pope Francis, and all bishops and priests.

Our Lady’s words tonight, in light of Ivan’s request to pray the Rosary for Pope Francis, is very important, in that Our Lady, as a Friend of Medjugorje says, “listens to our conversations.” This should comfort us as well as convict us, in knowing that Our Lady knows what we say daily.

Ivan’s Prayer Group Apparition at the Blue Cross—May 17, 2019

After the apparition, which lasted seven minutes, Ivan said:

“Also today, as every day after the meeting together with Our Lady, I would like to also bring closer to you, to describe what is the most important from tonight’s meeting. Also today, Our Lady came to us very joyful and happy and She greeted all of us with Her motherly greeting, ‘Praised be Jesus my dear children.’ Then, with Her arms extended She prayed over all of us here. She prayed especially over you the sick present here. Then Our Lady said:

“Dear children, also today I am calling you, in a special way, to pray for my intentions, for my plans which I desire to realize by my coming. Pray in a special way for my shepherds, for the Church, for firm faith of my priests. Thank you, dear children, for also today having responded to my call.”

“Then, Our Lady blessed us with Her motherly blessing, and blessed everything you brought to be blessed. As always, so also today, I recommended all of you, your needs, your intentions, your families. After that, Our Lady, for awhile, especially prayed for peace in families. She then left in prayer, in an illuminated Sign of the Cross, with a greeting, ‘Go in peace my dear children.’”

We ask that every person continue to keep the Holy Father, the Church and all of Our Lady’s Apostles in your daily prayers and Masses, especially with the new announcement that official pilgrimages to Medjugorje are allowed.
