Our Lady of Medjugorje said on October 25, 2016:
Medjugorje visionary Mirjana, October 2, 2016 as she prepares to receive the Queen of Peace. How would one act if one knew that in a few moments, the Queen of Heaven would appear before them? In the same way, how would one live, not knowing the moment that they will appear before God?
We cannot be in sin and be in peace. If we are not at peace, we will feel God far from us. However, God is not far from us, though because of our sins and way of living, we have distanced ourselves from Him. A Friend of Medjugorje writes:
“…Choose God for a future. Not to, is to distance yourself from God and His Word, giving no future. More and more we are normalizing, becoming more accepting of sin in society and the cultures that make up the world. A good act of contrition is in order…” 1
Our future is eternity whether with God or without Him. We choose, not tomorrow, but in this moment by our way of living. Each should take every chance to grow close to Our Lady, and through Her, close to the God Whom She carried in Her arms as a Mother. Make an act of contrition and make use of every moment that God gives to grow closer to Him, until eternity.
