[NARRATOR]
“No one can serve two masters. He will either hate the one and love the other, or be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon. Therefore, I tell you, do not worry about your life– what you shall eat or drink– or about your body– what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing?
“Look at the birds in the sky. They do not sow or reap. They gather nothing into barns, yet your Heavenly Father feeds them. Are not you more important than they? Can any of you, by worrying, add a single moment to your life span?
“Why are you anxious about clothes? Learn from the way the wildflowers grow. They do not work or spin. But I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was clothed like one of them. If God so clothes the grass of the field, which grows today and is thrown into the oven tomorrow, will He not much more provide for you, oh you of little faith?
“So do not worry and say, what are we to eat? Or what shall we drink? Or what are we to wear? All these things the pagans seek. Your Heavenly Father knows that you need them all.
“But seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be given you besides. Do not worry about tomorrow. Tomorrow will take care of itself. Sufficient for a day is its own evil.”

How many times Our Lady said, Read the Bible? Why? You’ve done it. You know a lot of the verses? Because it’s alive.
What about Our Lady’s messages? You see the message? Are you supposed to go back to? These messages are the preface for the Bible.
So this broadcast today, I did it 16 years ago. Our Lady’s messages are sprinkled through these broadcasts.
Don’t say I listen before it. I listen to what I say myself too. It brings stronger conversion to you. Our Lady’s messages is candy for the soul. If you don’t listen to them, “I’ve heard that again,” You’re not following Our Lady.
When I’ve created Words from Heaven, it’s going to be Our Lady’s Bible. It’s your tool to spread Our Lady’s message.
What is the difference between the earth and the world? I will answer this question in this broadcast. There is nothing we do that is not tied to the soil. Many people are better concerned because the food supply can crash. We have got farther and farther and farther from the soil. Something horrendous awaits those who do not convert.
The title of this broadcast is We are Headed for a Depressive State in Life. In this broadcast, I say about people in the depression or depressed. Find out why as you listen.

[FRIEND OF MEDJUGORJE – SEPTEMBER 23, 2010]
A show that we have started a while back that’s been very successful about placing Our Lady’s messages on your financial situations and your situations in regards to the crisis we’re facing and the future we’re facing in this crisis.
Those people who trade and do this for a living, who desire for it to fall and go up and down what it does, that they make their money, and then the momentum of people discovering what to put their money into can outstrip those who want to keep it where it is and it’s going to go up.
Specifically, it’s people losing faith in the system, in the dollar, in the commerce, the paper currency we have, and they start turning into something that they know they can use for goods and services as far as exchange, which has always been silver and gold. Gold’s the method of exchange for the kings. Silver is for the gentleman, as it’s always been said.
That said, we have people that don’t have the faith in the system, and they don’t have the faith in the system because we’ve got a moral decline. If you’ve got moral decline happening, then you’ve got social, economical, every facet of that, and everything in effect, in decline. So what do you turn to? You turn to what God made. And that’s why we started saying this, what, a year and a half ago? Has it been a year and a half ago we’ve been on Mejanomics? And when people said it was ridiculous, who’s going to look at silver this way? We’re doing it not for the love of money because that’s wrong. You just heard that in the preceding of the show. It’s not love of money. It’s about how to use what you have to advance God’s kingdom. Of course, It Ain’t Gonna Happen specifically about that. Some people don’t even grasp it fully, the first reading, because you can’t get it in the first reading. It’s the second reading. This is years and decades of understanding with the message to show you, and Our Lady coming for 28 years or 29 years, headed toward 30 years, to make us understand where we’re headed. And it’s really that clear.
I reviewed something that is real clear about this, about how our forefathers thought, how our fathers think, and why we have what we have, and how we pilfered everything away. And we’re not looking for the next generation. We’re only looking at our generation, the me and myself and I generation. And we’re going to pay for that. We’re going to pay dearly for that, as this read will show you.

This comes from Lee Pitts. He’s a common sense kind of writer, but he says,
“I can’t recall what famous author wrote the lines, ‘It was the best of times, it was the worst of times…’ But he could have been referring to a time in this country that we know as the Great Depression. Those who lived through it will tell you there was nothing great about it.
“Like always, good times preceded the crash. Prices for farm goods were soaring thanks to a seemingly endless export market for the product of the farmer’s toil. So farmers did what farmers always do whenever they get a little extra change in their pockets. They bought more land at higher prices. To farm the land, they bought newer and bigger machinery and paid for it like farmers always do on the installment plan.
“Then almost overnight, demand dried up like a withering fruit. America’s farmers and ranchers had managed to overproduce themselves out of prosperity once again. Naturally, prices plummeted, as prices always do. The men and women of the land were left with high-priced land and machinery payments. Land prices fell, and so did many rural banks. How many times, I wonder, has the familiar boom and bust cycle of agriculture repeated itself?
“During that time, we now simply refer to it as the Depression. A Missouri farmer, the son of an original homesteader, planted a corn crop for his family. But the howling wind that came from across the plains dried up his corn and his family’s future. The blowing dust made housewives crazy and children sickly. Insanity was about all that would grow in the dust of the Depression, irrigated only by sweat and tears.
“Faced with the unceasing wind, some farmers in this part of the country planted fast-growing windbreaks, almost as an afterthought. But not our Missouri homesteader. No, he planted a tree. Not a tree, really, just a twig, a cutting from a dying matriarch. That Missouri farmer carried water to that twig from the well his father had dug by hand when this homestead was settled. There was precious little water in those days. But the farmer gave that baby oak what little there was to spare.
“To some of his Missouri neighbors, planting the tree was the act of a lunatic. The dirt and the wind, perhaps, had taken yet another victim. After all, trees grow slowly, and the farmer would be long gone before that tiny twig grew into a giant oak.
“But as was the custom of those sturdy Midwestern farmers, this tree was not planted for his generation to enjoy. It was planted for the farmer’s children and his children’s children. He planted corn for himself and a tree for posterity. To most everyone’s disbelief, that oak tree eventually sent down scraggly roots into the parched ground, surviving harsh winters and hot summers. Moles burrowed under it, insects and diseases assaulted it, and wind and ice tried to kill it. In this land a few oak trees, that tree became somewhat of a symbol. The first leaves that sprouted were a victory for hope. America’s heartland would survive.
“Funny thing, those windbreaks that the farmers planted in desperation are now thickets that have been cleared away with modern herbicides and powerful tractors, now through as though worthless bushes. If you would travel back to southwest Missouri today, you would probably find that tree. Only now it is no longer a twig but a giant oak. Beneath that tree is a family burial plot. That tree, which was planted in the depths of depression, now shades the farmer who planted it. He will be shaded from the sun and the rain for as long as the tree shall live. Finally, the farmer has his reward for planting a tree instead of a thicket.
“This Missouri story is often retold in the old country of my ancestors, and it comes to my mind whenever I pass a modern cemetery. I pause and wonder.
“When our children and our children’s children walk through the cemetery where we are buried, do we want them to fight through thickets and thorns that were planted as quick and easy answers to the complex problems of our generation? Or do we want them to stand under a sturdy tree in quiet appreciation? Will our headstones be shrouded by thickets and thorns? Or will they clearly state that we came and we sowed so that our children could reap?”
[FRIEND OF MEDJUGORJE]
And this is a real illustration of our mentality today. I remember seeing pictures of some farms recently in a magazine in Brazil. And they had a tractor plowing the ground with proper plows 50, 60, 70 feet wide. And as far as you can see was plowed rows. As far as you can see to the right, all around. You saw no trees, nothing, but just the curvature of the earth. It went on for miles this way. Humongous farms.
And we go to get every inch of the soil to produce. And yet we don’t realize what happened in the Depression. There was two things. It was just economic, but also the blowing winds, you know, the parched earth. We had all the way to the east coast saw this dirt. And so the drought that came was something tied to the spiritual nature of what we did. And it’s interesting too, it’s called a depression. What is worse than anything is depressing. Something that’s to cause you to be depressed. It was a great depression. Everybody was depressed. Who was happy?

And so this great void, this thing is something Our Lady’s trying to warn us. “I’m telling you,” She says, “Listen to Me.” And yet our protection is to put on the clothes of the message, to template that over our life, make our decisions now so as She says, quote, “that it might go well for you.”
Now, it doesn’t mean you’re going to escape suffering, you’re going to be sitting in your lounge chair, but it does mean that you’ll be at peace. You did what you’re supposed to do. We don’t know what awaits us, but we can measure that there’s something horrendous for those who won’t change that awaits us and something very blessed for those who do. It doesn’t mean it won’t be without difficulties.
But everything’s based on the soil. We think, okay, what about cell phones? What about the computer industry? What about this industry? What about ice cream? Everything is tied to soil. Everything revolves around the ground. It revolves around that. There’s nothing that we do that’s not tied to soil. We can neglect that Adam was tied to the soil because he was drawn forth from dirt. We tend to not think of that. And we think, well, where did everything come from? Where was everything 1000 years ago?
And so we’ve distanced ourselves from the ground. Man has never in history been so far from earth, even though we live upon it. We don’t comprehend the intricate ties that bonds us to the soil! It’s not without great thought that we should be recollecting what Our Lady just said, recollect, but one thought that we should be recollecting upon is that Adam was drawn forth from dirt. and from dirt you shall return. For your dust and dust you shall return. Look at it in those things and you’ll understand what you should be doing, where you should be in life, what your future should be like. The further you are from the earth and the closer you are to the world, which is man upon it and his civilization, and I’m writing about this right now, in the Words of the Harvesters, which I’m finished, it’s going to be going out, civilization is something of the past. It’s dead! It’s something you explain. This is what the civilization did.
We’re not a culture anymore. We’re not a culture. Why? Because culture has a moral basis to grow and expand upon. That’s why it grows. But when you become a civilization, which is where we are now, goes away.
Now, Our Lady’s coming right now to build a new culture based in Her messages, based in Her way, close to God the Creator. What did He create? The earth. So if you’re close to God, then you’re close to creation. You’re close to creation, you’re close to the earth. It doesn’t mean you have to be out there toiling if you’re an industrialist. But you know, I read something about two years ago that really struck me that the best economy that ever existed was on the plantation. I’m not talking about the sin of slavery. I’m talking about the economy itself. And so if you took those qualities that was written about that, and this is not something wrote two years ago, this is something wrote in the 50s. And it wasn’t in favor of sin. It was in favor of how it worked, the method in which it worked.
I told somebody I knew was wealthy two years ago, I said, “Why don’t you build a big place and buy you some land and build cottages for other Catholics? Screen who you want on there. And you still can do what you do and your wealth can turn into this.” And really what I was saying is like a plantation. It’s a good system if it’s ran by Christian principles.
And so is this where we’re headed? Something like that. You know, there’s people out there that’s got the means to do things. Why would you not want to do that in your home place? Why would you not want to help people that could feed themselves and feed you too? And your soil’s coming from your own land. Beautiful thing.
And your own homeschool. Build a little chapel there. This is the future. What does that mean? It’s a little community. You can have this. And there’s means out there people have the means to do that. You’ve got to have good leadership, yeah. But if you’ve got talent and leadership and build a company, why can’t you build your own little system? Apart from the system. Doesn’t mean you have to quit everything you’re doing.
So this reading really says much more than what it says. Something you probably should re-listen to if you’re going to be re-streaming this later. Re-listen to the story a second time. We’re headed for a depressive state in life of the culture now gone by way of a civilization. And we’re headed for a beautiful culture that won’t be people of depression, but people that are of joy, that Our Lady’s messages are forming us on.
And this is tied to economics. It’s tied to what your decision you make now with silver. We’re not talking about in terms of investment, we’re talking transitional, to get you to there, to some kind of economic viable system based in the land, based around that.
↓ Share your thoughts – It helps bring people to conversion ↓
Remember we said it before, Washington held it not as his greatest achievement of being the founder and father of the country, but of being a farmer! Did he get out there and do that? No, he managed that. So he wasn’t out there picking the hoe and doing this kind of stuff.
But we’ve got to go back to a culture that’s based on that. And everything is based on that. We just have gotten so far in the last 60 years away from it, thinking it’s money and the love of money, and we’re about to be hung by it.
We’re talking about something religious in silver. Silver was confiscated after the Great Depression. The currency back then was backed by something that’s not now because of that. They’re going to take that up too. But if it’s religious, they can’t. And who doesn’t want it to be religious? If you’re just going to buy silver, And your silver bars, as I said, two, three shows ago, this is wrong. You want to do it with the purpose of conversion. That’s the whole program while we’re involved in it. Otherwise, we have nothing to say about silver or going to buy it. We have something to say about it because Our Lady has shown us how to do this, preserve what you have, make it transitional, and put it into the circulation with Her on it. That’s what you want. Otherwise, you just subject it to what the Bible says, your silver will rot and be as moth and do you no good on the Day of Judgment. It’s going to be worthless to you. You can go put your money in silver all you want to. I’d be scared to do that. There’s a proper way to have money, there’s an improper way to have money. There’s a proper way to have wealth, there’s an improper way. There’s a proper way to have silver, there’s an improper way. What’s the proper way? Not have love for it, not have desire for it. Turn it into something that can result in conversion. The book shows that. Tremendous conversion through this medal and how it can be used.
If you have, like the story of the last week we were talking about, the lady who did, I think, 30 or 40, $50,000 into the Medjugorje Miraculous Medal Round, she’s at peace. And she just had that money sitting there at a bank or someplace else and it got stolen in her house, even wherever. She got nothing but biting her fingernails and anxiety and worry, she lost this. But she said if it got stolen, She is a consolation. Somebody just stole a bunch of conversion because they’re going to get out and they’re carrying that. Not to mislead people that it’s just the Miraculous Medal. It’s not. It’s much more than the Miraculous Medal. There’s other things on the struck round. It serves just to a purpose of very arguable about in the event that there’s confiscation of precious metals, which has already been spoken about because it’s a religious object at the same time. It’s not something you wear. It looks like a silver dollar. But that’s why we call it a round. You can’t call it money because the U.S. mint won’t allow that. That said, there’s so many facets to this and how Our Lady illuminated this for us that everybody out there has got to try to get ahead and try to, they want to protect themselves. And so how do you do it in God’s way, as we’ve spoken, and God created these things. He gave us everything we need. The means of exchange, water for growing our food, the means of exchanging that food for a neighbor who has this or that or buying land. And so this is something that’s very consoling even to have, to have peace with because, and that’s what our friend was talking about, the peace that she has because she’s free. She’s free in the sense that even if it’s stolen, I mean, if money’s stolen, you’ve lost something. But this is not an entire loss. Not that we’re advocating that happening, but look how much more free you are. And the whole purpose of Mejanomics is getting you where you’re not dependent on the dollar to make you independent. The more independent you are of the economy, the closer you are dependent on your future for God.
And I’ve walked this path for 40 years. Every move I made was not dependent on the system and the economy. And you say, “Well, that sounds such a complex thing to do.” It’s not, it’s real simple. You pay as you go, you stay out of debt. What you acquired, you acquire through what God makes available at that moment. If He gives you the funds for it, then you don’t do it. It’s just that simple.
How do you get not using the money, the dollars? Well, go from the soil to your mouth. And you say, “Well, I’m not, I’m physically not able to.” Well, your wealth may be able to do that and have other people there with you to do it. And they share your land and what comes out of that, they give, share with you. I mean, there’s ways to build this system. And the thing to do is to start now.
And we’re doing this in our ministry to help Our Lady’s children to see what the future’s about. Its purpose is to position you not to save yourself, because that’s fruitless with the future that comes, but to make you more dependent on God and His ways. And when you’re in that, just like our friend wrote to us and talked to us on the phone, and many others who are saying the same thing, can be in peace.
So we’re out of time. We always say Our Lady imports the message to Medjugorje, exports them to us, and we export them back to the world. Our Lady’s created a great tool here. There’s a lot happening in our mission, a tremendous amount. We need your prayers. We ask for prayers right now. But it’s very, very exciting, at the same time very daunting because we have a lot on our plate and many, many things happening right now, but you’ll see that manifest in the future.
We’d like to wish you Our Lady. We love you. Good afternoon.
