Welcome to Mejanomics. All we hear right now is doom and gloom. The United States of America, the most trusted nation in the world as far as its markets, its financial ability, is threatening losing its credit rating.

All the experts, all the people in the financial end of making money and doing all the things, the banks, everybody’s talking about this.

Everything we read is talking about it. People out on the streets are talking about it.

If we lose this credit rating, there’s going to be disaster. Well, if that’s right, then my Dad’s wrong.

My Dad always said, if you have bad credit, that’s good credit. It’s the best thing for you. Because you have to pay cash for everything.

I think my Dad’s right.

We’ve got too much borrowing. We got too much debt.

What’s it going to hurt if we lose what we can’t borrow? It’s going to hurt the financial people. It may hurt some businesses. It may hurt us.

But we’re going to get hurt anyway. The people are going to be hurt. They’re already hurt.

Somebody just told me last night that they’re Uncle lost a million dollars. He’s not necessarily wealthy. He’s worked all his life for that.

But they accept that because it was in the markets.

There’s a mentality of making money and we gain and we lose. It’s okay. It’s not okay.

What if had he, before he lost that money, take that million dollars out and put in some land or into our house?

So, we’re going to lose our triple-A credit rating. So what? It’s just going to be easier on us to bite the bullet now than later.

A financial expert told me at least 10 to 12 years ago from Chicago said that we were aiming for a huge bubble burst back then, 12 years ago.

I saw him a few years after that, later, and he said, what’s going on? He says, the balloon’s just getting bigger. The balloon is just getting bigger.

We’re dealing with a problem that can’t be fixed, won’t be fixed, and the only way to fix things in an unstable building and threatening and people walking around it or on the streets or walking across the street to avoid the building because it might fall and propping it up and can’t prop it up anymore because it means so many structural modifications have been made to it.

The only thing to correct it and make it stable is for it to fall. We’re going to fall, it’s going to happen, and nobody wants it to happen now because it won’t be pleasant.

But every day you put this off, it’s just going to get worse. The only good thing about it being put off is you’ve got the opportunity, a golden opportunity now to make decisions, to posture yourself, to position yourself, to get your money out of the banks, out of investments, and put it into some kind of goods now that you can make your way.
