Prayers and Novenas of the Community

Our Lady says that the Rosary can do miracles in the world and in our lives. So how does this show us the state of the world?

The Queen of Peace of Medjugorje has told us in situations of immediate and urgent need, She will be with us. She encourages us to call upon Her.

The Holy Father exhorts priests to say this prayer as often as possible, as a simple exorcism to curb the power of the devil and prevent him from doing harm. The faithful also may say it in their own name, for the same purpose, as any approved prayer.

The Angelus is a traditional prayer said throughout the centuries of the Church.

Our first prayer for all the community is at 8:00 a.m. before we begin our work greeting Our Lady with the Prayer at Dawn.

Saint Michael the Archangel,
defend us in battle;
be our defense against
the wickedness and snares of the devil.

On many occasions, Our Lady has asked the visionaries in Medjugorje to pray this prayer.

Prayed before the Daily Rosary at Caritas
O COME, HOLY SPIRIT, fill the hearts of your faithful,

Everyday, the entire community stops the day to gather in the Field to pray a Rosary in preparation for Our Lady’s apparition.

Recited by Our Lady at the Visitation, prayed everyday immediately following the apparition in Medjugorje, the Community of Caritas recites this prayer after apparition time during the Daily rosary.

“HOLY, HOLY, HOLY GOD, I present myself to you with all my good deeds, my charity, my accomplishments as nothing…” Prayed everyday during the Daily Rosary.

The prayer given to Saint Faustina by Jesus. Say this prayer on ordinary Rosary beads.

We can pray this Novena of Chaplets for our own personal intentions, or we can offer it together with the Novena to The Divine Mercy for the daily intentions dictated by Our Lord to Saint Faustina.

These two Consecrations were given by Our Lady in Medjugorje. We strongly urge you to continue these consecration prayers in continuing to comply with Our Lady’s request on January 1, 2001 in regard to satan being unchained.

This Prayer was first prayed by Marija in June, 1987, in the presence of the married couples who were part of a Caritas of Birmingham pilgrimage.

Our Lady dictated this prayer to Jelena:
“HOW TO GIVE ONESELF TO MARY
MOTHER OF GOODNESS, OF LOVE AND OF MERCY…”

This prayer was inspired by Our Lady, to Jelena, and She said it was the most beautiful prayer that could be said for a sick person.

Our Lady inspired Jelena to write down this prayer and to say it in her prayer group.

The Lord’s Prayer and commentary was dictated by Our Lady to Jelena.

“LORD, WHO ARE WE AS A PEOPLE, having been given blessings in portions as no other nation before us? What has become of us, Father? We have spoiled your spacious skies with buildings and cities breathing with sin. ”
