Building prayer into life is not only a suggestion of Our Lady, it is a necessity, it is life.
Medjugorje June 21, 2019 – Another day ends in Medjugorje. Our Lady has not just asked us, but She has clearly told us to begin and end each day with prayer. Our Lady said August 25, 1995, “let your morning begin with morning prayer, and the evening end with thanksgiving.”
Prayer is a necessity. As a Friend of Medjugorje shared many years ago, when speaking of the success of Caritas, he said that the only thing we have to be successful at is prayer. Everything else falls into place if we are faithful to prayer. This does not mean we do not work. Actually, Our Lady said in a Friend of Medjugorje’s home on November 20, 1988, to make work prayer. And, Our Lady has certainly not given us a shortage of work to do. But, our structured prayer is vitally important to the success of our work.
