Official Diocesan Organized Pilgrimages to Medjugorje Now Allowed
In a recent news article published earlier today, Archbishop Henryk Hoser from Warsaw-Praga, Poland, who was named special Papal Envoy to Medjugorje by Pope Francis said:
“The devotion of Medjugorje is allowed. It’s not prohibited, and need not be done in secret…”1
These words from Archbishop Hoser are an echo of what a Friend of Medjugorje has said for many years, and, more recently when a Friend of Medjugorje wrote on August 21, 2017:
The recent words from Papal Envoy Archbishop Henryk Hoser, come just one day before the 25th Anniversary of the Five Days of Prayer for the Reconciling of Ourselves, Our Families and Nation Back to God, the most well-known Medjugorje event in the U.S., which takes place at Caritas. A Friend of Medjugorje writes:
“…Mary is real. The people accept Mary’s call to apostleship. Not a thousand, not one hundred thousand, not a million, but tens of millions have believed and been impacted by Medjugorje, and that will increase into hundreds of millions and emerge into billions. We are set on a trajectory course of conversion such as the world has never seen before and will never see again. The coming time of Mary will fill and satisfy the world. Her love will flow out like all the rivers of the world…”3
This love of Our Lady is flowing out to the world, and is catapulted by the words from Papal Envoy Archbishop Hoser:
“…Today, dioceses and other institutions can organize official pilgrimage. It’s no longer a problem… The decree of the former episcopal conference of what used to be Yugoslavia, which, before the Balkan war, advised against pilgrimages in Medjugorje organized by bishops, is no longer relevant…”4
What is relevant today, is that God is sending the Virgin Mary to the world, who in turn is raising up Her own apostles for the conversion of the whole world. A Friend of Medjugorje writes of these apostles:
“…While they are to obey the Church in all areas in which it has jurisdiction over them, obedience is also displayed, in this time, by remaining loyal to Our Lady’s messages, which will rebuild the Church…”5
This new change about official diocesan organized pilgrimages, is one more step toward the recognition of what the Sensus Fidelium has already declared to be real. The Church will fully recognize what God is doing in Medjugorje.

Its been a long wait for this to happen! Praise God and Our Lady! Prayer works and continues. The most wonderful experience was being in Medjugorje! And seeing so many Prayers and Love. I will never forget the last day and seeing the miracle of the Son! You cannot explain the Love of Our Lord there in this place.
I had gone there in 1988, it was so real when I met the young Blessed Mother, no force could ever stop me from believing! A beautiful rainbow, heralded this event, swear to high heavens, Medugorje is TRUTH!
God patient and kind to His beloved children. He made it happened at the right time…we can see blessed Mother acting in a powerful manner as our co-Redeemer. ..she will act powerfully to gather all God’s children in her mantle of blue.praise you Almighty Father for your love.

Praised by our Lord and His Holy Mother, Mary! What wonderful news on the eve of the Immaculate Conception. Thanks be to God the Father for sending our Mother to lead us to Him.

Incredible! … announced on the Eve of The Feast of the Immaculate Conception! This morning at Mass during the homily our Pastor spoke of our Blessed Mother in Guadelupe, in Lourdes, in Fatima, in Kebeho, and then he very deliberately said and “our Lady TODAY in Medjugorje begging us to pray for peace all over the world”. First time ever we have heard him even speak Medjugorje. so exciting.!
We are so happy, this is wonderful news.
