May 11, 2015 A.D.
Our Lady appeared to Ivan tonight during his prayer group meeting at the Blue Cross. Pilgrims began to gather at the Blue Cross before 6:00 p.m. For the first couple of hours, the Rosary was prayed mainly in English, until pilgrims in other languages began to arrive. There were several English speaking nuns present who would lead the Rosary at times, some times even singing a decade. Ivan’s prayer group began singing around 8:30 p.m. and sang for an hour. Then Ivan announced that a Rosary would be prayed in preparation for Our Lady coming. At the end of the Rosary, silence spread across the area, and many pilgrims fell to their knees. Our Lady appeared to Ivan around 10:00 p.m. The apparition was several minutes long. The following is Ivan’s description of the Apparition:
“Tonight, the most important from the meeting together with Our Lady. Also tonight Our Lady came to us joyful and happy and at the beginning, as always, She greeted all of us with Her Motherly greeting, ‘Praised be Jesus my dear children.’ Then, for awhile, with Her arms extended, Our Lady prayed over all of us here and She prayed especially over the sick present here. Then Our Lady said:
“Then Our Lady blessed all of us with Her Motherly blessing, and She also blessed everything you brought to be blessed. I also recommended all of you, all of your needs, your intentions, your families and especially the sick. After that Our Lady continued to pray for awhile over all of us here and left in that prayer, in an illuminated Sign of the Cross, with a greeting, ‘Go in peace my dear children.’”
May 11, 2015 – Medjugorje
In the early evening of May 11, 2015, in Medjugorje, the first pilgrims found their way to the Blue Cross to await Ivan and his prayer group, to be followed soon after by Our Lady. This was Ivan’s first public apparition for the new pilgrimage season of 2015 in Medjugorje on Apparition Mountain. Ivan just arrived from the United States a short while ago being reunited to his prayer group that has been in existence since the early 1980’s. Many who live in the village of Medjugorje eagerly await Our Lady’s return to the mountain in the evening apparitions to Ivan. And it is also a favorite experience for many of the pilgrims who journey to Medjugorje. The mountain apparitions are special in that everyone is able to gather in Our Lady’s presence in the open air, often under beautiful cool starlit nights, for apparitions that typically lasts nearly 10 minutes—a length of time that gives one the opportunity to enter into deep prayer with Our Lady.
Our Lady’s message tonight is full of hope in Her continued visitations to the world, “…also today…”; “…anew…”; “…through this time…”; “…pray…for my plans which I desire to realize by my coming here…”; “…thank you, dear children, for also today having responded to my call.” In other words Our Lady is saying, “I am still here. I am still coming. My plans are still unfolding. I am still in need of your prayers. Persevere.” It is all good news in the midst of such bad news we are daily confronted with. Receive this “good news” of Our Lady “anew” and respond to Her pleas to “persevere” in your prayer for all Her intentions. Remember that She cannot do anything without our prayers.
