Peace, Create a Structure for It While You Can

Peace, Create a Structure for It While You Can

March 30, 2020 A.D.

Our Lady of Medjugorje said through Marija in Her monthly message for the world:

February 25, 2020:

“God will hear your cries and give you peace…”

Though we have already quoted these words of Our Lady previously, it is important to look at them again, as they show something in the character of Our Lady, and what She knows we want in our lives.

(Photo taken Saturday, March 28, 2020, 7:34 PM) – Praying the Patriotic Rosary Novena at the Cross on Penitentiary Mountain. While the adults enter into this very serious prayer for the United States, the little children play and run around the Cross. Do they know there is a pandemic going on right now? They may have heard the adults mention it to each other, but their life is the same. Nothing changes for them. They are loved and secure. This is just as Our Lady wants our own lives to be as Her “little children,” caring for nothing in the world, except to know we are Her children, loved by God.

Our Lady promises us peace from God. She tells us these words because She knows this is what man desires most. Peace is a great gift, and many search for it in different ways, but there is one place to find it and that is in God. Though it is a choice we make to decide for peace, ultimately, God has to provide it. A Friend of Medjugorje shares more about the peace Our Lady gave here, at Caritas:

Our Lady’s blessing of peace has created here a witness of peace which the world does not have but will have in the future. The peace here did not come without war. Turning away from many things which the world offers, getting rid of television, etc. did not go well for our family. Many trials, sufferings and difficulties were the result of Our Lady’s blessing of peace, but, when the war is over, and the storm clears, a physical peace which can only be a result of choosing God is left.

Our Lady’s Blessing of Peace – November 22, 2018

In looking at a Friend of Medjugorje’s words, peace is something we have to create a structure for. If we remove from our lives the sources of unpeace*, God can then move in with His peace. One may not have this now, but the world will one day have this in the future. Right now we are at war with an invisible enemy, physically and spiritually. What is happening now with the coronavirus, is being forced upon us in such a gentle way, that it is allowing many to look at their lives without forcing them to lose something for it. As a Friend of Medjugorje wrote about in Social Distancing, right now this is a trial-run, but will it be a trial-run the next time? This time must be seen as an opportunity to choose God, Who can give us peace, so that when this storm clears, only peace will be left. We continue to look at these things and to repeat the words Our Lady: “This is a time of grace while I am with you, make good use of it…” April 25, 2007

* Remove the sources of unpeace, namely things which bring about sin. This does not mean to leave your state in life. God may be calling you to suffer a difficult marriage or religious vocation, but the source of unpeace is ultimately from satan. To remove the sources of unpeace, is to remove the sources from which satan can enter into your home or church parish.
