We have a more to go to reach the goal because of the Tariffs.
A generous Field Angel gave $30,000.00 towards the $300,000 goal for the paper plea. Thank you to all who are giving!
However, we have a pot hole in our road to the finish line for the plea. We need extra donations to cover the cost of tariffs.
When the paper plea was announced a few months ago, some tariffs had not been settled, nor were in place.
Some items like the press plates, which are needed to print the image on the press, are a very high-grade aluminum which come from Germany. We included the cost of the aluminum plates in the original plea, however, there is now a 15% tariff on the aluminum from Europe.
The only other place we can get these plates from is Japan, which has a 50% tariff for the aluminum plates.
For the plates, we have yet to see exactly how much extra we will have to pay for these aluminum plates, but we know it will be at least the cost of the tariff.
Additional donations for the paper plea coming in will be used to cover the extra cost of the aluminum press plates, for an estimated three-year supply.
Included in the original cost as well were the rubber blankets which transfer the image from the aluminum plate to the paper on the press. These also come from Germany. The additional donations will help cover this tariff as well.

What about the paper?
A Friend of Medjugorje is seriously considering buying only American-made paper.
Some of the best grade and archive quality paper is American-made. By buying this high-quality archival paper, these printed pages in the books and other materials will last, if taken care of, well over a century.
Thank you to all who have given. Reaching the goal is only the beginning. There are at least 7 major books that a Friend of Medjugorje has yet to write, or finish writing. These are books which change the culture and will be used until Jesus comes back. A Friend of Medjugorje has said that Our Lady’s words are for this time. Our Lady has said:

A Friend of Medjugorje birthed, inspired by Our Lady to him, to put three indexes in Words From Heaven to help the world find the verses of Our Lady, when computers will not be there for you. Our Lady said on September 2, 2011, “…Everything around you “is” passing and everything is falling apart, only the glory of God remains…”

Much of the positive changes we are seeing are from a Friend of Medjugorje’s books, getting Our Lady into the public conscience, changing the way people think, act and live; readying them for a time when the Queen of Peace will reign.

I remember when the Blessed Virgin Mary first appeared back in 1981 it began to change me from that moment on. I believe my ongoing conversion began then without me realizing where it would take me I pray the Most Holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary everyday for the salvation of souls and those in purgatory. I first heard of Medjugorje in 2011 and had the opportunity to visit Caritas for the first time from July 1-5, 2012. When Our Lady gave her July 3, 2012, message about forming and making prayer groups, and then later seeing that referenced in They Fired the First Shot, I knew I was connected to Our Lady and Medjugorje in some way. Through Her messages as well as the 54-Day novena, I am not who I am today without any of this. AMDG!
