Today, July 31, Our Lady appeared to Ivan on Apparition Mountain. Following is Ivan’s description of the apparition:
“Today She came to us very joyful and happy. She greeted us all with Her maternal greeting: ‘Blessed be Jesus, my dear children.’ Then She looked up to all of us, stretched out Her hands, and in Her Aramaic language, She prayed for all of you.
“She prayed especially for all of you who are sick and for you priests.
“Then She turned to all of us with these brief words:
“After that, the Mother bestowed Her maternal blessing on all of us and blessed everything you have brought to bless. I have entrusted to you all your needs, your intentions, your families, all of you present, the sick, and everything you carry in your hearts. The Mother knows our hearts best and intercedes with Her Son. Then the Mother prayed for a while in a special way for peace in the world. Finally, in prayer, She left the sign of the light and the cross with the greeting: ‘Go in peace, my dear children.’
“That is all. Thank you.”
Tomorrow, August 1, begins the Youth Festival in Medjugorje. More will be said about this in the coming days, but to prepare to understand it, here is one small bit piece of truth.
On October 6, 1986, a Friend of Medjugorje, the founder of Caritas, was present in an apparition of Our Lady in Medjugorje. After the apparition, visionaries Marija and Jakov got up and walked out of the room. Marija wrote down a message from Our Lady and came and told a Friend of Medjugorje that Our Lady had given a message for him, personally. Our Lady’s message:
It soon became apparent, that Our Lady would put a Friend of Medjugorje in the forefront of the greatest event since the death of the last apostle. Why else would Our Lady require humility from him?
What a Friend of Medjugorje would begin, and what he would be a witness to, first with his life, and secondly with the things he would bring to fruition in Medjugorje and in the world, are things which have never been told by his own mouth over these past 43 years he has been involved with Medjugorje.
The time has come for us to tell the truth of what he has done. You’ll be surprised and elated. But for some, they will be upset.

Encourage them to read a little from Holy Scripture and use the psalms as a prayer guide. As parents this is hard, but we are all praying for this intention and in this time of grace, step out in faith and do as Our Heavenly Queen asks in this message.
