Our Lady says, “Set out after Jesus”

Looking out from Apparition Mountain, another beautiful sunset in Medjugorje, tonight, June 15, 2018, just a few hours before Our Lady appeared to Medjugorje visionary Ivan.

It was a beautiful night in Medjugorje. As the pilgrims began to climb to the top of Apparition Mountain for the prayer group tonight, God blessed them with a beautiful sunset, speaking to each of their hearts of the glory of God. The singing began at around 8:45 p.m. and continued until Ivan announced we would be praying the Glorious Mysteries of the Rosary. Our Lady appeared at around 10:00 p.m. and the apparition lasted several minutes. The following is the message that Our Lady gave to Ivan, along with his description of the apparition.

“Dear children also today, in a special way, I desire to call you to the Eucharist. May the Mass be the center of your life. Especially, dear children, may the Eucharist be in your families. The family must attend the Holy Mass and give glory to Jesus. Jesus must be the center of your life. Therefore, pray dear children; renew family prayer. Set out after Jesus. Thank you, dear children, for also today having responded to my call.”

“Our Lady came to us today joyful and happy and She greeted all of us with Her motherly greeting, ‘Praised be Jesus my dear children.’ Then, with Her arms extended She prayed here for a longer time over all of us. She gave us Her motherly blessing. Then I recommended all of you, your needs, your intentions, your families and especially the sick. After that, Our Lady continued to pray, and She left in that prayer, in an illuminated Sign of the Cross, with a greeting, ‘Go in peace my dear children.’”

If there is one word we would want to speak to each person tonight, that word would be: sincere. Throughout this coming time towards the anniversary of the apparitions on June 25, each should be asking themselves whether they have truly set out after Jesus. This is not something symbolic. Does Jesus really lead your life? Your family? Are you following His lead? Is there anything in your home which takes the place of Jesus, or takes time away from God? Be conscious of living this message with sincerity.
