“You are so flooded by earthly concerns, you do not even feel that spring is at the threshold…”
What is this “spring” that Our Lady is referring to in Her monthly message? Are we ready for what this spring will manifest into?
(Medjugorje photo taken August 12, 2007) – A shepherdess with her flock of sheep, grazing in Medjugorje. Just the sight of this scene stirs peace in the heart. What then would a life like this inspire to be lived in the heart?
A Friend of Medjugorje gave a very telling meaning of “spring at the threshold” in his writing, Threshold. Here, we look at what happens after we cross that threshold, into the time of spring which Our Lady speaks of in Her messages:
What is the new spring associated with? The Church? Yes, but much more, a total transformation of society. If we reflect on our future as Our Lady in Medjugorje says, if we read the Bible as Our Lady says, if we live a simple life as Our Lady says, if we go back to what was the beginning in living the way, as Our Lady says, we will see man’s air of confidence, his artistic ideals, his pretentiousness, his sophistication and many accomplishments were inflated and exaggerated. And we will understand that man will return to what is real.

In Luke 7:35 of the Gospel, Jesus spoke how things are not always how they look, especially in regards to how people in those days, thought the Son of Man, came as a glutton and a drunkard. Yet when Jesus states further in verse 35, that “wisdom is vindicated by all her children”, Our Lady calling us, Her “Dear Children” imparts Vindication, of the Importance of all Her messages, even if there are those whom still see darkly, through the Veil of Revelation. Mary, the Mother of Jesus, was the 1st Christian to ever exist, & in this time when others are “hapless followers” of Internet Influencers, Social Media, & mislead Secular Culturists, we’re taught there’s high need for Conversion & Penance, in order for God to relent & perhaps leave a new blessing for this generation. In this way, our testimony & witness of the graces received from Our Lady, through Her Son Jesus, serve to Vindicate the purpose for which Our Lady of Medjugorje was sent in this desperate time unlike any before now.
