Our Lady Gave Us a Gift…

Today at Caritas, we were joined by pilgrims who came to be with us in prayer for Our Lady’s birthday. This morning we gathered at the Tabernacle of Our Lady’s Messages for prayer and then to listen to the Special World Report of August 3, 2020. After our morning prayer we picked the following message at random from Words from Heaven:

August 25, 1992

“Dear children, today I wish to tell you that I love you. I love you with my Motherly love and I call upon you to open yourselves completely to me, so that through each of you I may be enabled to convert and save the world, where there is much sin and many things that are evil. Therefore, my dear little children, open yourselves completely to me so that I may be able to lead you more and more to the marvelous love of God, the Creator, who reveals Himself to you day by day. I am at your side and I wish to reveal to you and show you the God who loves you. Thank you for having responded to my call.”

We were very surprised by this message of Our Lady, which we picked at random. Why?

Today we released online, the new expanded version of I See Far, the 1994 classic, from a Friend of Medjugorje about television. In the most recent years, there has been a greater assault against the family, and in how satan moves to infiltrate the family. We will share a short history to explain why the above message was very surprising to us.

In 1992, a Friend of Medjugorje was discerning about writing on what Our Lady has said about getting rid of the television. Today, we sometimes come across people who are TV free, but in 1992, this was practically unheard of. A Friend of Medjugorje had already walked away from television, and was greatly feeling the call to write about it. One morning in August, 1992, he was in the Field of Apparitions for morning prayer at 5 AM. While he was praying, many thoughts started to rush through his mind about writing on the television, and he was reasoning with God, every angle of why or why not to write. A Friend of Medjugorje said that all of these thoughts were literally rushing through his mind. Finally, he thought to himself, that things cannot be evil. This is classic Catholic theology, that God made everything, and since God made everything, then things cannot be evil. He put his thoughts to rest. Later in the day, since it was the 25th of the month, Our Lady gave Her message through Marija. Our Lady said:

August 25, 1992

“…open yourselves completely to me, so that through each of you I may be enabled to convert and save the world, where there is much sin and many things that are evil…”

A Friend of Medjugorje was shocked that Our Lady literally answered what he was reasoning out earlier in the day. He then understood that while things which God made cannot be evil, there are derivitives which man makes that are not good. He set out immediately to write, knowing that Our Lady gave him a clear sign to do so. The book, I See Far first came out as a newsletter, and then was published as a book in 1994. And here it was today, August 5, 2020, we released the new expanded version of I See Far, and Our Lady gives us, in our morning prayer, in a message picked at random, the very same message which set a Friend of Medjugorje on course to write I See Far in the first place.

We thought that today we were giving Our Lady a gift by releasing this book, but instead, Our Lady gave us a gift through Her words, and we are truly humbled and in a Holy Fear that She should speak to us in this way.
