August 5, 2011 Message Preparing for the Evangelization? Pictures from the Apparition
The August 5, 2011 apparition of Our Lady tonight took place during Ivan’s Prayer Group on Apparition Mountain in Medjugorje. It was a clear night, ending the feast day of Our Lady’s birthday. A few hours before the apparition, there was singing, then Ivan began the Rosary a little after 10:00 PM, praying the Sorrowful and Glorious Mysteries. Thousand were present on the mountain tonight with Our Lady. It was a clear evening, with thousands of stars visible in the night sky. Our Lady came around 10:52 P.M., and the apparition lasted 12 minutes. During Our Lady’s apparition tonight, it was noticed that not a single camera flash was seen, and the thousands were in a deep and peaceful silence as Our Lady came. As Ivan began to describe the apparition tonight, several large shooting stars went across the sky. Following is Ivan’s description of Our Lady’s apparition in Medjugorje of August 5, 2011:
Today, as every day, after every meeting with Our Lady, I desire to describe to you what is the most important from this meeting with Our Lady. Also tonight, Our Lady came to us, really very, very, very joyful and happy. She came with three angels. At the beginning, She greeted us all with Her Motherly greeting, “Praised be Jesus, my dear children.” Then Our Lady said:
Our Lady then for a longer while, with Her arms extended, prayed over all of you here. She then blessed us all with Her Motherly blessing and blessed everything you brought for blessing. Then Our Lady extended Her arms and for a long time especially prayed over all of you here and particularly over all of you youth present here. She prayed for your families. I then recommended all of you, your needs, your intentions, your families and especially all of you who are sick. Our Lady then continued to pray over all of you the youth. She left in that prayer, in an illuminated Sign of the Cross with a greeting, “Go in peace, my dear children.”
Preparing for the Evangelization?
Never has Our Lady said “evangelization” or even “evangelize.” For at least two decades, A Friend of Medjugorje has written and spoken about the coming Great “Evangelization” continually. The whole retooling project of the Tabernacle of Our Lady’s Messages is for the purpose of the great evangelization. After four years of planning, A Friend of Medjugorje put together in 2008 a plan to answer Our Lady’s call to “be ready” with the project of re-equipping the Tabernacle of Our Lady’s Messages, called the Retooling, all for the purpose of a great evangelization. Following is from the initial launch of the Retooling project which was sent out in February, 2008. It states in a few words the purpose behind it:
So much is this in the heart of A Friend of Medjugorje, we include just a short sampling from his writings over the years in which he uses the same verbiage that Our Lady used tonight for the first time, but which with the heart could be seen in Our Lady’s previous messages.
Many talk about Jesus coming back and reigning upon the earth. Some think there may be a second redemption. There are others who think that Jesus will rule upon the earth for one thousand years. Jesus’ second coming will be a final coming. No, there will not be a second redemption. He gave us, the first time, everything we needed for redemption. While man may be in need of redemption many times, even a thousand times, Christ’s single act of redemption is sufficient. Man, when he falls from grace through weakness, can by his own will, be redeemed, drawing forth from the inexhaustible gift Christ gave us the first time. Since there will be no second redemption, as with the first, will there be a second evangelization as there was a first that was sparked by the event of Christ’s birth? Yes, there will. Jesus will not come personally, but He will evangelize a second time, just as he did the first, except this time through His Mother, the Woman of Light, the Woman of Genesis, the Woman of Wisdom, and the Woman of Revelation. “She,” the Bearer of Christ, has come, will come, and is the only One capable of reversing the downward spiral the world is sinking into.

Thousands of youth and other pilgrims around the world gathered on top of Apparition Mountain for Our Lady’s apparition to Medjugorje visionary, Ivan, tonight, August 5, 2011. What a beautiful grace that Our Lady’s birthday providentially fell on a Friday night, giving the youth another opportunity to be in Her presence, just as with Mirjana’s apparition on August 2. The messages Our Lady gives during the time that pilgrims are in Medjugorje will speak to them the rest of their lives. For the youth who were on Apparition Mountain tonight, they shall have these words of Our Lady to strengthen them in their calling, in whatever way Our Lady calls them to evangelize. She is the one who calls and She has often said, through the years, that even the youth have an important part to play in Her plans for the salvation of the world.
It was unusual how quiet it was on Apparition Mountain tonight for Our Lady’s apparition. With thousands present, there is always at least someone who cries out, can be heard weeping, a baby crying, and flashbulbs flashing—but tonight, there was complete silence. The prayer was deep and intense. Leading up to apparition time, while people waited for several hours, in the clear night, looking down into the valley, long lines of flash lights could be seen of pilgrims making their way through the vineyards on their way to Apparition Mountain. It was beautiful seeing streams of people coming to be with Our Lady. With Ivan’s description of Our Lady saying that She was “really very, very, very joyful” it makes one wonder if She was given a special gift tonight on Her birthday in regards to the message She gave tonight. May it be so.

In regards to your comments about the revelation in the song “Stairway to Heaven” listening to that song from your alarm clock could draw others like yourself to explore its source. Although you are wise and spiritual to realize that it is derived from evil, others may not. Our Lady could be telling us that prophetic messages, although so amazingly true, can come from evil sources and that we all should carefully and spiritually discern the source which could lead to following a great deceiver. This is extremely important when the future brings the antichrist who many will be drawn to with his amazing works and prophetic messages. Thank you Friend of Medjugorje for blessing us with all the writings and interpretations you have provided us regarding Our Lady’s messages. God bless all who trust in our Lord and promote our Lady’s message to love.

You should call the people to get on their knees and ask GOD to destroy the evil statue. HE can do anything! Our Mother said prayer can stop wars – this certainly means that God can destroy a statue!!!!!! I know I have read of bombs being dropped over Medj that did not do damage – exploded in air. Call on the Bishops to have the people call on God to destroy the satanic statue so, they are NOT incited to do so and then receive harm or death. WITH GOD ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE! I am sorry, I disagree with your advice – it is not peaceful. God is peaceful, our Mother is peaceful. Do not forget the power of prayer and the power of the Almighty who can DO ANYTHING! What an anointed program. When I first went to Medjugorje in 1999 I thought Medjugorje is a stairway to Heaven and here we are coming into 40 years. Dear Community of Caritas, I have been disappointed I could not celebrate in person in Alabama for the 40th Anniversary. Instead of just me excited about this special holy event, I wanted the whole family to be together so, we have planned for all my children to have a camping/fishing weekend. They all could take off work for a long weekend. I am using this special time to share old photos and pictures of trips to Medjugore, all the trips to Caritas that they all have experienced. I hope to know when the message will be on June 24th so I can time it out for us to stop what we are doing to give ‘Thanksgiving ‘ for the beautiful gifts God gave to us for 40 years of Our Lady teaching, guiding and praying for us and the whole world. Of course we will be stopping to pray on June 25th also, joining with those in the field at Caritas and those in Medjugore spiritually. The whole reason I am writing this note; I was organizing items this morning and exactly at the end of this RadioWave broadcast I found my rosary that I used in 1999 at Caritas. I thought I had lost it. Thank you all for your sacrifices, perseverance, dedication, prayers and memories over the years. May God bless everyone 1000 fold. Peace
