Our Lady of Medjugorje recently said on May 25, 2015:
How is this possible as only one person?
Two young brothers on their knees in front of St. James Church in Medjugorje at the time of Our Lady’s daily apparition, while their baby sister stands behind them. Witness does not start when children reach their teenage years, it begins when they can barely walk. The witness of prayer in these young people’s lives changes and alters the direction of their life, forever. It begins with one thing: a decision.
Jakov spoke to pilgrims in Medjugorje on April 25, 2015. In his talk, he shared with the pilgrims his thoughts and feeling in the first days of the apparitions and about one message of Our Lady that helped him give his yes to Our Lady:
“When the first apparition finished, we remained in prayer. That is when you understand in your heart that you received a great gift, that you received a great grace, but also responsibility, responsibility that in those moments you were not prepared to take. And we were wondering, ‘What is our life going to be like? Are we going to be able to accept what Our Lady was going to ask of us?’ And I remember, in the beginning when Our Lady told us in one of Her messages – exactly in that message I found my response. Our Lady said, “Dear children, it is enough that you open your hearts. Everything else I will do.” Then I understood, that I as a man, as a child, I cannot do much. But I can do a great simple thing and I can say my yes to Our Lady. I can say my yes to the Lord. I can surrender my whole life into Their hands. Exactly in that moment, a new life began for me with God, with Our Lady.”
