The Caritas pilgrimage group now in Medjugorje climbs Cross Mounatin. The climb, something that has to be experienced.
Caritas pilgrims on the September-October Medjugorje pilgrimage meet before beginning their ascent up Cross Mountain. The trek up Cross Mountain is one of the most powerful experiences of the pilgrimage. For many it is truly the walk up Golgotha, where one can carry their loved ones, as well as their problems to the top and leave them with Jesus.
Third station, Jesus falls the first time. As the Caritas group makes its way up the mountain, they pray the Stations of the Cross. The intensity of the experience of the Stations of the Cross is something that can not be understood without having experienced it personally. Many have said that they truly felt as though they are walking with Jesus and Our Lady as they climbed.
The Caritas group stops at each Station of the Cross, praying the station and picking a message of Our Lady from Words from Heaven. It’s as though Our Lady is speaking directly to each individual present. Caritas has always said that every person is hand-picked by Our Lady for each Medjugorje pilgrimage, and the climb up Cross Mountain binds you closer together as a group. Helping hands are extended for those who are having trouble climbing, and no one is left behind. A Friend of Medjugorje has always instructed the Caritas Community group leaders, that if anyone in the pilgrimage group wants to make it to the top, we’ll make sure you get there.
The youngest member of the Caritas pilgrimage group enjoys her climb up Cross Mountain. Baby Mirjana at 18 months old shows us that you are never too young to be a pilgrim, and contrasting her is our oldest pilgrim who is 82 years old, who also made the climb, showing us that you are never too old to be a pilgrim. To Our Lady, each of us is Her child no matter how old, and we are beloved to Her. Our Lady has often said how much it pleases Her when we come to Medjugorje. The Mother is always happy to see Her children.
The Caritas pilgrimage group makes its final ascent to the Cross. Our Lady in Medjugorje told us in Her messages that She is often at the foot of the Cross, praying to Her Son to forgive the world its sins. Reaching this place is well worth the climb, with all its hardships and struggles, ultimately, it is at the Cross that we unburden our hearts.
Here, above the world, at the foot of the Cross, you give everything to God. Our Lady said around March 1985, that we need to “pull out” our sins when we pray. Here at the Cross is where you “pull out” everything: sins, struggles, family crisis, marriage problems, health problems, emotional problems. Here at the Cross, you give to God your joys, expectations, desires. Everything here is left in the hands of God. At the mountain top, you ‘feel’ closer to God. And why not? For again, it is here that Our Lady in Medjugorje told us She prays often; and so this special place, where millions have visited and prayed is a place of unburdening your heart, a place that must be visited to understand, a place the Mother calls you.

There is a lot of meat to this message; therefore much to chew on…and a lot of chewing will give way to proper digestion. Clearly Our Lady wants to show us and teach us the best way to love by her terms, a way we are not yet familiar with. First she must plant the seed of desire in us, a desire to love in this way. There must be other seeds planted with the seed of desire…humility, peace, confidence and so many others all nurtured by Our Dear Mother. We sow in trials, tears and adversity maybe sometimes without seeing the fruits of our labor, at least on this side of heaven.But someone will come after us, someone will reap what has been sown if we but sow in love.Thank you Caritas for showing us how to love. A lot to chew on here. First if people don’t realise just how far we as a Nation have fallen, and then to do concrete action(s), to fight the perverse culture of political correctness that insists you keep your religion behind closed doors and not out in the public square, your prayers are fairly benign and without effect. We all need and should bring our Catholic beliefs into the streets of this nation. Youth are getting paid to organize and cause disruption and chaos at rallies throughout this country because of the Presidents avid Pro Life agenda, and Judicial nominees that respect and uphold the US Constitution. Just sitting behind closed doors at home or at Church is no longer an option. The left wants to limit Freedom to Worship and Freedom of Conscience to act or refuse to actas hate mongering. Already a Friend of Medjugorje has pointed out in past presentations that the EU has already severely curtailed religious freedoms, to the point of taking away Parental rights. Don’t think it can’t happen

The importance of names was mentioned. Look at what our Presidents name means. Donald=Great Chief, World Ruler John=Gift of God Trump= Hidden Resource God uses the base to ridicule the proud. Throughout the bible, this is true including Jacob (Israel) , whom had two wives which were sisters to each other. While I have only listened to part I so far…I have been wanting, since former follower from Hawaii to say this… I am with you Friend of Medjugorie 100%!! And any notion that you are leading any of us astray is not only misguided, but also offensive! We pray for the Holy Spirit to lead us into all Truth! And He will! With that aside, my thoughts concerning Hawaii and those whose call ins you shared tonight is this: Our Lady has asked us to pray for those in posession of Miraculous Medals!!! Many of those followers of Our Lady whom are also listening to “lying voices” are Catholics and highly likely to be in posesion of Miraculous Medals! There IS hope that their “scales” will be lifted from their eyes!! Thank you for not holding back on Truth!!!
Wow, just wow! What an awesome and inspiring program! I have heard so many good ones on here previously, but I do think this is one of the best yet! I have a long way to go to understand much of what Our Lady is saying, so that is why I rely on A Friend of Medjugorje to explain these messages to us. But it just makes so much sense. I truly do not understand why good people who follow Our Lady do not get it. I hope they just surrender themselves to Her and Jesus and then the light of truth will shine through. God bless you all in the Caritas Community, you do so much good that so many do not even realize. You hold a special place in many of our hearts. Keep up the good work and I will continue to learn from Our Lady and you and do what I can, along with my family, to spread Her messages to those who will listen.
